Stay away from this place! They kept my car for multiple months. On my first trip I paid over $1000 to have my check engine light turned off. I picked up the car the light turned back on after driving for one day. I brought back the car and they charged me another $600 the kept my car for another month. They kept on telling it needed new parts. I got the car back and it was making a strange noise, there was oil stains inside the car, they did not put on the engine cover back on because they cracked it and they damaged my inside door panel, they tried to tell me I had to pay again. These people are thieves! I still can’t use my car! I have reported them to the Better Business Bureau!! STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!!

I swear what i'm going to write on God and my 3 children, that when i got my car fixed with this company, i paid close to $3700 to get my tramission fixed the first day i had problem with transmission kicking but it was drivable and i didn't have the car for over 2 weeks So I was caught up with a lot of stuff and i left to north carolina and i didn't have a chance to bring it back and now that i came to NY to have him fix it the right way he is saying to pay $3000 more to fix the transmission because it passed 20000 miles more of the warranty. This business owner is not honest do not do business with them . The car doesn't react to come out of the high way, it kicks and can create an accident.I swear they gave me the car the same way that im giving it back to them. Nothing has changed. Terrible dishonest people. They purposely do something bad to your car for you to come back and be charged more. The owner pretends he's not the owner. When we entially did business with him he said he was the owner. We were taken advantage of. Being out of work for 3 years do to a work accident i wasn't able to come back to new york. They said the warranty was 2 years we came back within the year. Steve the owner is a liar, has no heart ,and purposely damages cars for clients to come back with more problems. We have a 15 month old, a 8 year old and a 6 year old if anything happens to us while driving because steve neglected to fix the problem steve created its on Lee myers auto and Steve's responsibility !

We went there a year ago to fix a transmission problem with just the light going on for check engine nothing serious paid $4,800, after we received the car it began to jerk and kick back the same day we got, we had to leave to North Carolina because it’s where we live, my husband being in a work accident wasn’t able to return to fix the issue, we finally made it to New York to bring the car to lee myers auto, only to be told it’s $3,000 now to fix the issue with the car kicking, I was in tears explaining how we drove so far, and have a 15 month old baby it is dangerous to drive back with the car kicking in the highway or anywhere on the road. The owner is dishonest. They created this problem with the car just so we would come back and spend more money. If anything happens to us it’s on them ! Don’t trust this auto repair place, would you trust your life driving to people that glitch your car for profit ? Scary !

Will never go back!Went there for fron brakes . I was told ineeded rear brakes as well. I said I will come back the next day. The next day, the car was not drivable. The rear brakes were done and upon inspection, they were so damaged and making all sort of noise, the car was not drivable.I took the car somewhere else.Customer service was absolutely excellent.

If you want an honest mechanic, I would go elsewhere. I am very disappointed in the treatment I received and feel like I was taken advantage of\nMy check engine light had turned on and my car was having problems starting, so I took it to a mechanic with good reviews.\nThe team seemed nice enough, even though a bit misogynistic. ***** the manager implied that the potential reason my car wouldn’t start is because I put the wrong fuel in my car (I might be a woman but I’m not dumb!). He eventually found that rats had eaten my engine wires, which is why my check engine light was on. He showed me one of the eaten wires. He fixed it and I picked it up the next day.\nWhen I picked it up, my check engine light was STILL on. My car also had a new rumble it didn’t have before. So I brought it back. The mechanic acted surprised and said rats had eaten my wires. I was surprised they didn’t already know this, as that’s what they were supposed to be fixing. They opened my hood and I saw the same wire that ***** had showed me the day previously was still eaten. They already had my $850, so I couldn’t do anything but have them continue to work on a problem that they told me was already fixed.\nI came back to pick my car up again and everything seemed fine-ish. They left a dust cover from my engine in my back seat which I have to put on myself. My gas tank was also on empty, which was odd since that means someone drove it 200ish miles (or siphoned it off and didn’t warn me).\nWhen driving my car, the check engine light came back on. At one point, I put my car in drive and it started to roll backwards. I opened the hood of my car myself and saw that there was still a rat nest in my engine. The problem was not fixed.\nI took it to another mechanic who fixed the problem for $178 and my car has been perfectly fine since. I called the manager ***** to see what he would do about the situation. He refused to do anything or take responsibility of the sloppiness of his mechanic’s work.

Please read the whole review for a full step-by-step detail of my experience. It is lengthy but worth it. You might want to understand what you'll experience before you give Lee Myles a try. They're pretty scummy. After today, I probably would have given 3 stars because the team here seemed nice. But after working with the team here for a few days, I can now say that this is the sloppiest, most condescending mechanic I have ever worked with. I filled my car up with gas and when I tried to turn it on, it had problems starting. My check engine light had also turned on. I am a student, so I took it to a mechanic with good reviews near my school: Lee Myles. The team seemed nice enough, even though a bit misogynistic. Steve the manager implied that the potential reason my car wouldn't start is because I put the wrong fuel in my car (this should have been my first red flag- I might be a woman but I'm not dumb!). He told me he did a He eventually found that rats had eaten my engine wires, which is why my check engine light was on. He showed me one of the eaten wires (pictured). He fixed it and I picked it up the next day. When I picked it up, my check engine light was STILL on. Additionally, my car had a new rumble it didn't have before. So I brought it back. The mechanic acted surprised and said rats had eaten my wires. I was surprised they didn't already know this, as that's what they were supposed to be fixing. They opened my hood and I saw the same wire that Steve had showed me the day previously was still eaten through. They already had my $850, so I couldn't do anything but have them continue to work on a problem that they told me was already fixed. I was very upset I had to bring my car a second time for a problem that was supposed to be already fixed. I came back to pick my car up again and everything seemed fine-ish. They left a dust cover from my engine in my back seat which I have to put on myself. My gas tank was also on empty, which was odd since that means someone drove it 200ish miles (or siphoned it off and didn't warn me). When driving my car, the check engine light came back on. At one point, I put my car in drive and it started to roll backwards. I opened the hood of my car myself and saw that there was still a rat nest in my engine (see photo). The problem was not fixed. I took it to another mechanic who fixed the problem for $178 and my car has been perfectly fine since. I called the manager Steve to see what he would do about the situation since he had been very nice up to this point. He refused to do anything or take responsibility of the sloppiness of his mechanic's work. The money and time I spent with Lee Myles should have addressed my car issues. Steve's response to my dilemma shows that Lee Myles does not care about its customers, nor offers them help when they need it. They only are in it for the money. If you need an honest mechanic, I would go elsewhere. I am very disappointed in the treatment I received, and feel like I was taken advantage of at Christmastime. 0/10. Maybe 1/10 just because they have a cute dog in the waiting room.

This place is a properly run business. Well staffed, employees are helpful and transparent. You are going to get very fair prices and they buttoned up an entire transmission replacement within 2 days. Don’t be surprised they are booked up!!They even tightened up my shifter linkage to my liking two weeks after the repair included within the warranty.
