Workers at the bakery was top notch. Old aunties in the front are so rude. Refuse to give out bags and act like they own the store.please be humble. The ppl that shop here are Guyanese and Trinidadian’s. Please stop treat the customers so rude.

This store is lucky I came back after they sold me molded cheese then tried to give me a hard time about exchanging. I literally had a long talk in the parking lot w the store owner. He was apologetic and promise there would be no more issues w my service dog. Last night those two racist women at the counter gave me a hard time about my service dog which is against the law. I encourage all deaf and blind people to come to this grocery store w your service dog. However I'm sure they don't say anything to white women coming w dog. They are racist and unprofessional unethical and they need to shut down. You're better off walking to ideals on Hollis or getting what u need I'm the bodega that's how ghetto this little Guyana is.

I am very happy that this store was able to expand their business. Great store and products for the west Indian community.

Always a pleasent shopping experience. Things tends to be out of stock at times but that is understandable since they are international products.

I will never buy any baked products from them. Stale and disgusting. I wish I can post a picture of the mold under the black bean hopia.

Nice place, don't get meat in there though, it doesn't look fresh.

Was great, they are a bit over priced but for the Guyanese product I believe it’s reasonable.

I am writing this review for the second time because they go under different names. The name may have changed from Little Guyana to Value Fresh but the practices are still atrocious. Some of the people behave like they don't want to be there. That's not the issue though. I went in to buy some salted codfish to find the container the fish is in, lined with plastic and filled with water. Salted codfish is only reconstituted before cooking by soaking in water for a few hours or by boiling to extract salt. l can see only one reason to soak in water in the store, to add weight.
