We have used Honeoye Falls Storage units whenever the occasion arises. The Storage Units are always clean, dry and free from rodents or insects. I just finished storing furniture for 2 years and there was no damage at all from the elements. The auto-pay system makes it easy to pay your monthly fee; and you are provided notices each month. The secure fenced keypad entry system on route 15A ensures that vandals will not have access to the storage units. The units are competitively priced and there always seems to be a unit available when I need it. If you are looking for storage; this is where you should begin and end your search.

I had very pleasant interactions with Sara and she was very helpful.There were times I couldn't reach her, but she went out of her way to make sure I could moving past that.

For the last 3 months, when I try to call and pay my bill I always get voicemail. I leave messages but it takes days or weeks to receive a call back. This month it took 2 WEEKS to get a callback, and then they charged me a late fee! I have not been able to pay on the website, because they changed their software and I needed a “registration code” which THEY have to provide, but I haven’t been able to get that without a callback either! The 24 hour access is great, sure. But the lack of communication, lack of staff, lack of an office you can go to, and poor attitude from staff make this place so difficult to work with! Personally, I’m moving my stuff somewhere else! My advice? STAY AWAY FROM HONEOYE FALLS STORAGE unless you want to get taken advantage of with late fees continually!

I have always paid on time as I have automatic payments, my credit card expired and I had to call to register a new cc, but I didn't know this until I was receiving reminders that payment was late. My husband called the week prior to rectify the situation and left a message and the manager stated she didn't receive any message and I would be in fact receiving a late charge I called on January 5th and spoke to the manager to register my cc for automatic payment. I was told there is a 5 day grace period for late fees and part of those days included a holiday and 2 weekend days so I didn't feel I should be charged a late fee. She insisted that I would be charged the late fee bc I was late. This is how they treat customers who have never been late on a payment and who tried to contact them and they didn't return a call and then they couldn't be reached due to a holiday. The woman "managing" refused to let me speak with the owner, has a horrible attitude and is just all around an unfriendly person. There are the same sized units down the road for $37 less a month and with wayyyy nicer people to deal with. If anyone knows the owner I would love to talk to him about the customer service his customers are receiving! Now she has locked me out of my unit and I can't access my belongings, until I pay the "late fee". Is this real life?

I rented a unit online for my mothers belongings as she is a traveling RN moving back to the area to serve in Rochester in the midst of the COVID pandemic. During the rental process it asks you what items you will be storing. I stated we were storing furniture such as a couch and other one bedroom apt items. I picked the size that deemed it should fit a one bedroom apt. (I did not get to choose a specific unit or location of the unit itself.) Upon getting to the unit, it was an indoor unit which you had to enter the building through a doorway. Unfortunately the couch was unable to fit through this doorway. We moved on a Saturday so upon calling to attempt to rent a different unit There was no answer and no call back until this morning. We had to pay for a different unit in a different town. Upon the call back they stated there was nothing they can do and rental fees are non refundable. I was not allowed to speak with a manager and was hung up on while stating I felt I was mislead to rent something I in fact could not use. It's very upsetting and I don't want anyone else to fall into this situation where they are paying for something they will not receive.

This is a great local self storage facility. Really like the 24 hour access as well as it being part of my local community.

They are conveniently located for the honeoye falls lima area. Blah blah blah. I'm writing this to change my original post and this is the only way to do it i think.

Recommend checking monthly rates every month. If the rate goes down your rent stays the same. At least in my experience it did. Wasn't reimbursed either. Manager was rude and disrespectful. 👎ðŸ»
