I had been using this pharmacy for years, even tho I live closer to Rochester.
Recently, CVS “updated??” It’s technology?
I have had a terrible time with the technology change at this pharmacy. Mind you, it’s not a change for betterment, it’s “just a change for change sake!”
You can no longer reach the pharmacy tech & ask a question. Now, one phone call becomes two: you have to leave a message, wait, and get a call back — more steps added to accomplish getting one question answered.
I decided to switch to Walmart pharmacy, where I can talk directly to the tech, the first time I call.
CVS — stop making technological changes, just for change sake! You create new learning curves for your customers, without making the end result any better !

For the past week I have been waiting for blood work. Waiting for clearance. Waiting waiting waiting.
I have been to a new primary care physician.
I have had to have medications filled and prep prescriptions for a procedure at Thompson hospital.
I have left messages at the pharmacy specifically and Aaron has called me back a number of times.
Although I do not agree with the fact that you can't speak with a pharmacist anymore that you have to leave messages that said...
I have gotten my message back within half an hour of leaving a message for them. Aaron, the pharmacist has specifically called me himself and told me my scripts are there already to pick up. It spent technology nightmare between me and the lab and Thompson and CVS and the fact that I can speak with Aaron personally has made my day.
In a world of technology where you're supposed to be getting information, text messages or patient portal or dashboards or whatever. Thank God that you can speak with a pharmacist that knows what he's doing.

Not pleased lately with lack of concern or willingness to help with my Lantus(insulin, I'm type 1 and need this medicine to LIVE...). It's never in stock and they are completely unwilling to pull the medicine from another location, and was told it's not their responsibility. When I call other non CVS pharmacies, it's not only readily available, they said they couldn't believe CVS won't move the medicine from another locations inventory. CVS used to do this, but not anymore apparently. After this last prescription is filled, I will be using a non CVS pharmacy from now on. A pharmacy that cared about it's customers and their well being would have gladly expedited it from another location, like every other pharmacy would.

The pharmacist was very helpful, friendly and efficient. I was impressed with how he handled the issue that I was having with my prescription. The pharmacy technician was very friendly, helpful and efficient. I really like using the Honeoye Commons pharmacy. The store is always clean and everyone who works there is very friendly and helpful.
