It's the way a lumber yard / hardware store should be: helpful staff always greets you & helps you find your doodad. And they seem to have more products that you really need than a giant big box store, where you could lose half a day hunting for that doodad. I look here first! And the prices are reasonable.

Ward's is really convenient and has great customer service. I showed up today right at closing and the lights were already off. Brian turned them back on and let me get the part I needed to fix my sink. It saved me an hour of driving to Canandaigua for the part. That's one of the reasons I like supporting locally owned businesses like this one.

this particular business has been Very good to me over the years.their prices are Fair,and they have also Helped with some of the Charity work we have done over the years,which they didnt have to do.even their younger employees are respectful and eager to help,which is Refreshing in this day n age.i would Highly Recommend this store to everyone.

I go here all the time. They have just about everything. Saves me a trip to the dreaded lowes. I can’t stand going to Lowe’s. Wards prices sometimes are a little higher than the big stores but most prices are very close if not the same. Even if it is a little more idc because it saves me the trip to Lowe’s and I like to support the local businesses. The people are great and always have gone out of their way to help me. Today one of the guys took his time to help me sort through and choose the right lumber for my project and he even cut everything to a specific length that I requested. I have always been happy with the customer service they offer. Thank you everyone.

Awesome, helpful service, the kind of service I remember getting from Walworth Hardware when I was a kid! I certainly missed the small town hardware store experience until I moved to Honeoye! No need to go to the big box store when everything that’s needed is right here.
