Excellent local shop, team is a great devin steve and nick are awesome, good people work here, have used them many times in the past for car repairs and towing, and it's always a good experience

Called triple A because of a flat. These guys were able to help me and were patient when I was panicking because I had my little one with me. Didn’t overcharge me like I thought and was so nice to go over things as well and I was able to pick up my vehicle before they closed at 10pm. I live locally and I would say I am going back to them.

Amazing team! They immediately responded!My husband and I are so impressed with the quality of service and care here! Our car broke down 70 miles from Home! Nick rescued us on the taconic parkway after we had an all night flight back to jfk! Then we arrived safely and were soon comforted by Steve the owner (whom is positive, charismatic and super humble). These gentlemen were outstanding! 6 star! Devon was very informative and reassuring to my husband and during this unexpected event... Lastly Al was just as lovely as the rest of this team! The customer service here will forever be remembered. We are eternally grateful Gentlemen! Thank you again Steve's squad! You gentlemen took what felt Tragic and made it Magic!

This place is amazing. They saved our lives, literally. Our shitty rental car blew a flat due to a nail in the tire in the middle of a snowy mountain and we had to drive with our spare for many, many, many miles until we were able to find this place that was miraculously open late on a Sunday. The guy fixing our tire was super nice, accommodating, and quick on service. He did it within less than 5 minutes. I highly recommend this place to everyone. **Pro tip! Their bathroom is also spotless. Thank you Lake Service Station, you are the best!

I am from NY city... two Sunday's ago, my car broke down on my way to MIllbrook (about 2 hrs from my home). Lakeside Service station towed my car off the Taconic (restricted roadway), even though I had AAA - state Troopers called this company, as it is a restricted road, only a few towing companies have permission to tow your car on that road. Anyhow, they offered to look at the car and call me the next day to tell me what was wrong with the car- to see if I wanted them to fix it.Well- by 2pm the next day, i called to find out what happened- because I never received a call. When I spoke to the mechanic, he was rude and unhelpful. I had to interview him about my car because he wasnt just offering up information. I told him- thanks for looking at the car, but dont repair it. I will pay for the tow and the labor and have it towed back to the city and have my guy look at it. He said sarcastic and had a snappy tone and I told him about it. He denied he was being nasty. We both said fine, then we hung up the phone.less than 15 minutes later- miraculously- he knows what is wrong with the car- they said it was a faulty part- told me they replaced the part and they would test drive it, and I could pick it up tomorrow.My husband picks up the car the next day- they charged us $500 ($150 for a 15 min tow, and $300 for the part and the labor). My husband drives the car on the Taconic- he goes about 16 miles and guess what? the car breaks down again. I called the mechanic to tell him he fixed the symptom but not the cause. He rudely disputed my claim and told me they did fix the car because it wasnt starting before and they made the car start. he referred me to another company who they said "had the warranty" on the part he replaced and then hung up. Taking no responsibility for not fixing my car and charging me $500 in a pandemic! Disgusting service. I would NEVER ever go to this place again. the only way I would do buisness with them is IF I HAD TO tow my car off the Taconic because I was forced to.dont go to this service station. they dont care about you or doing good service.

Worst place ever. Rude, disrespectful and crooked. Sold me a part I didnt need and charged me 135 dollars for a 15 mi tow. They charged me 500 to repair my car, so as I drove away it broke down again. When I told the guy you didnt fix my car, he argued with me. No customer service. Didnt try to make it right Just took my hard earned cash in a pandemic! Dont ever go to this place. If I could give it 1/2 star I would.
