This is the kind of hotel you would stay a few days in … small kitchens for cooking. We only stayed one night on our way through and it had everything we needed … clean room, comfy bed and pillows, plenty of towels and ability to do laundry, which we needed after a week on the road. The staff is amazing and the location is great. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

I didn't stay at this hotel, so I can't rate the quality but can comment on the service level. I was leaving the Courtyard down the street and (stupidly) left the hatch on my rental car open. As I was driving down the street I heard a thump and when I stopped, I realized my suitcase had fallen out. I turned around, but it was gone. We stopped by the Candlewood, the nearest hotel and asked if anyone had brought it in, no luck. When I got to the airport, I got a call from a woman at Candlewood (Monday around 4:30 p.m.) asking if I had lost a suitcase. Apparently the guy that found it called the Candlewood to ask if someone had lost luggage, which they knew nothing about. Rather than just leaving it at that, the Candlewood woman called the other area hotels for someone who had just checked out, got my name and number from the Courtyard and called me, enabling the return of my bag, just in time to make my flight. Excellent service!

The rooms were nice. But, we had small ants on the 3rd floor and we did not have any food present. When I brought it to the service desk's attention, I was told that since they are considered a long term stay hotel, it's hard to control the cleanliness of other guests. They don't clean rooms daily. They gave us ant traps and spray. Unreal!

If you are visiting the Watkins Glen area, this is the perfect hotel to stay at. It’s safe, convenient, and affordable. We stayed their last year and would definitely stay there again.

Total disappointment. Stayed for a night, over priced with no breakfast no swimming pool. Landry machines broken.
No place to eat in the room. Not even a sofa to sit on.
Stay away.

Overall very dismal exp. Everything in the hotel feels cheap. Washer dryers are broken and seems no one cares to fix them. Pots pens and cups etc - very cheap quality. No sofa or even a place to dine in the room.
I stay in plenty of extended stay hotels due to work.
This is ONE of the worst exp I had. Also the nightly rate is way too high compared to the value you get. Look around and there is plenty of better choices.

Friendly staff as well as front desk manager and general manager. Always treat me with kindness and respect. Staff is quick to address to my needs.

I just wanted to write a review after so many great consistent stays at the Candlewood Suites, the customer service here is ALWAYS top notch, I have stayed now several times at this location during events of my life for the past 10 years or so and every time I visit, it's like I'm welcomed as if I never left, this location is fantastic... literally right beside an Outback Restaurant and conveniently close to everything in Horseheads... the front desk is always inviting and welcoming and never once have been disrespectful or not courteous. I would HIGHLY recommend staying here if you have an extended stay, they are pet friendly and also have a nice gym and free washer and dryer use... I could not have been happier with my accommodations!

The hotels front desk was very nice and helpful. I believe his name was Derek, helped quite a bit in my expressing concern of the excessive overwhelming scent diffusers or spray especially in the lobby. It was handled and VERY MUCH appreciated! I'd stay again anytime 😊

Very clean! Our room was on the 3rd floor and had a mini kitchen with a full bathroom. The bed was just right for a good night's sleep! The shower pressure was excellent and the room was very quiet. Highly recommend this wonderful place!

We stayed here for a last-minute, one-night stay, but it would be fantastic for an extended visit. Clean, comfortable beds, friendly staff, great water pressure in the shower, and a really nice set of amenities available! The kitchen in our studio room would be perfect for reheating restaurant leftovers, making some breakfast, etc.
