He is very warm and caring and quite responsive. He is a great listener and gets back to you if you need to get a hold of him.Andrea is an expert Manager and has been in the hotel industry her entire career-over 27 years. She can resolve almost anything. Do not hesitate to go to her with an issue. She is very attentive. She along with her team are the greatest.Tammy is the wonderful warm executive housekeeper. She has been with the hotel forever. She has the most dynamic industrious staff that I have ever witnessed in any hotel stay I have ever had: They have hearts of gold and are truly caring and personable; Sas, Lee, Christy, Gladys, Marianne, Tamesha, Lenay, Jenn and Candice. They are also thoughtful and thorough and personable.Tony is the Maintenance man. He alway gets the job done and in a timely fashion. He has a great personality and really cares.The fantastic desk agents are Scott and Chrystal and Dillon Monique and Rico.Each desk agent has their own unique style and personality that they offer to the guests at check in.Staying here will be like home away from home for you. It is a pet friendly hotel.The Cupboardconvenience store is great too. Free coffee, tea, hot chocolate and Crystal light. There is an ice machine in there. TV dinners-snacks and soft drinks and breakfast items and candy and fresh fruit are sold there. Also typical bathroom cabinet items and grooming accessories can be purchased there. Laundery detergent and laundry needs are also for sale there.WiFi; HBO and Cable and ample A/C and heat are provided with stay here. Washer and Dryer are free on premises and you can buy laundry detergent in cupboard. There is a free gymn. There is a free Lending Locker which has practical items and household wares and fun things in it to enhance everyone's stay.Room is fantastic-an apartment like dwelling with full kitchen and pots pans- dishes and dishwashers microwave -large refridgerator was the ice machine in it.Also kitchen sink-ample cabinets-full bath with bath items-great big TV-comfy recliner-wonderful bed.Housekeeping is offered once every seven days. Room necessities such as toilet paper and clean towels can be picked up at front desk when needed.Great location (Off Route 86) near so many great attractions.The Outback restaurant is in the parking lot and they truly welcome Candlewood guests and offer discounts to them.Hotel Parking is convenient and free. It is also a handicapped accessible hotel.Elmira Airport is 20 minutes away from this Hotel.There is a wonderful Taxi Cab company-Total Transportation-in town. There is also a local bus stop at the end of the parking lot at Colonial Drive.There is a Mall which is walking distance; numerous-close-bye shopping centers that include many great restaurants and department and specialty stores.Sight seeing near hotel includes Corning glass museum-Watkins Glenn which features Watkins Glenn Racetrack - the Finger Lakes. Mark Twain Country-Eldridge Park and Harris Hill Amusement Park and Harris Hill Glider Museum. Many Falls and lotsa hiking paths and State parks are nearby. Niagara Falls is only three hours from here.Elmira College-Cornell College in Ithaca and Corning Community College near.Tioga Downs Casino and Turning Stone and Del Lago Casinos also fairly near.There are also many dog parks nearby.Love it here. I lived in hotel for nine years.”

“I stayed at the Rufus Tanner House when I ran the Wineglass Marathon in Corning NY. This is a really nice B&B in a beautiful part of NY. The room was nicely done with all amenities you could want. The antiques are nice but not overdone. Plenty of warm common areas too, for relaxing with others. I’d book it again.”

“Planing on weekly stats during the holidays. Great location and terrific price. Close to Consumer's Square, and what's left of Arnot Mall. For safety, use mass transit or taxi to get off of the side of I86/NYS17 the hotel is located. But, there is plenty of shopping and food located on the same side of this very busy highway.”
