Went in after totally smashing my phone- Wasn’t sure if I should go to Apple directly or Verizon for a new phone, never mind an “Authorized” Verizon store. Took my chance just to see what options I had and Nick was great!! Went through the options, explained everything I needed to know and I went ahead and purchased two new iPhones- the one I needed to replace and another upgrade for a different line. Everything transferred over within minutes and we were on our way. Can’t express enough how quick \\u0026 easy it went. Thanks again Nick! Would def use/recommend this spot for anyone and myself for future purchases.

The manager Nick is great.. I was afraid I lost my cloud information but he helped me restore it.His coworkers John and Ash are great as well.

I would give zero stars if I could. This location (Howard Beach — on 159th Ave) is absolutely horrible AND I am fairly confident that the store has made fake reviews on google to inflate its rating and avoid negative pushback from corporate. That changes today.I had a horrible experience last month with an Employee named Nick K. which forced me to use a different Verizon store AND wasted many many hours of my life. I am filing a formal complaint with Verizon Corporate, the New York State Division of Consumer Protection, and the Federal Communications Commission.I highly recommend ALL customers who experienced (negative, hostile, fraudulent, or discriminatory) behavior from Nick K. or any other staff member at the Howard Beach, NY location — to file a formal complaint with the Verizon Corporation AND applicable local, state, and federal regulatory bodies.I am sure that the management will push back and try to silence me, but after my experience last month I will not be nor will they be able to respond to my review like other negative review which they challenge are referring to their location. I am being VERY specific, this is the Verizon (authorized retail location) on 159th Ave and Crossbay Blvd in HOWARD BEACH, NYAVOID AT ALL COST if your time and sanity is worth anything to you.

I have never enjoyed visiting the Authorized Retailer stores b/c I have consistently found they try to sell you products which are not necessary, upgrade you and the service typically lacks compared to the standard retail stores. I was faced with no choice but to run into the store on Cross Bay Blvd since all of a sudden my cell phone service was lost. I ran into the store around 7:05 pm and the individual in the store was helping a couple. He asks me "what can I help you with?" I explained I unexpectedly lost cell phone service. He responds "well I'm in the middle of helping other customers". At no point, in my response to him did I indicate that he immediately attend to me. I asked him approximately how long it would take to finish the customers that he was currently helping so I knew how long I would need to wait and he said around 20 mins. I then asked the time they closed and he responds with "well we are already closed" with a smirk on his face. At that point, I could tell he had no interest in helping me. He did not even suggest for me to come back in the morning and he could help me then. He did not even suggest I contact Verizon directly and they can assist me with a lost of cell phone service. I went home and contacted Verizon support through their chatbot feature and the issue was resolved in 10 mins. This is why jobs, such as his, will be replaced with AI one day. Such a lack of customer service in this store.

I was visiting my folks in Howard Beach from my home in Seattle. My hotspot broke. I walked in and in about five minutes, Nick gave me a replacement hotspot and took the time to walk me through its use. He listened to me and was very friendly and patient, even though he had a trainee with him as well. Great service, would definitely go back there for any cellular needs!

Terrible customer support, sat behind 3 people with a simple inquiry. After nearly 30 minutes of sitting there without the employee checking in on me or the other person in front of me, I left the store. I called the attendant from outside because he would field the calls that would come in, asked my exact inquiry I waited for and he told me I have to call FIOS
