Fun, friendly staff. Be aware at night this has station won’t be found on Google maps due to poor wifi in the general 3 mile radius so when it’s dark you’ll be very lost. Note there are 2 route 9s- 9 and 9G. This is on 9.If passing thru the area in the day just a mile North or so is a cool, unique used book store called the Little Red Book Shop, and 2ish miles East is the cool West Taghkanic Diner- only open for breakfast & lunch.

The station itself is a welcome respite from the BP station just down the street. They are decent and fair people. Plus, when I went into the BP, the guy behind the counter had NO MASK ON! The repair and service business in the same CITGO station building is actually a separate business. Julio is one of the mechanics. My car needed a new rear view mirror. Julio did it for me for $100; another local place and the dealership in Bedford quoted me more. He also wore a mask and gloves, and even sprayed disinfectant in the car when he was done. He even disinfected my card and the pen that I used to sign the receipt. He was extremely caring, and careful. I think that they do NYS inspections as well. I will use him in the future, and I thank him for protecting me and caring about my health.

Boy did I have one terrific first experience there yesterday when I pulled in. It started shaky at first, and although I'm glad no one came out to offer assistance, I would have liked to have seen someone to help me. You see: Being an Uber driver, I need gas routinely, and when my gas tank door to my Nissan Sentra pulled up and after I pushed the button to open the fuel tank door but failed to get the door open, don't you think it's interesting to see a person start opening the gas tank door with every method available? I later asked my mother and brothers to come by and help, but to prevent that, I could have used a little help had you come out your door to find out what was wrong. You weren't too overly busy when this was going on at first. (You got a little busier just as my mother pulled in to help 15 minutes later.) Having had my GasBuddy card on me (which only works at the pumps), I paid for gas once I got the door open and within a few minutes, was back off again. The whole experience shouldn't have taken quite so long, but with this experience, this time was expected but not anticipated. I don't like to stand around too long, but it's just not right what this business did. This review should offer a "slap on the hand" for these inconsiderate location that didn't try to help out it's customers.
