Racist Encounter at This Location – Stay Away!
Stopped here while traveling from NYC to charge our car, and my experience was beyond disappointing – it was flat-out racist. I went inside to get a hot dog, but the sign kept saying "not ready to be served" for a while. I politely asked an older lady with glasses if they were ready or still cooking, and she had the nerve to tell her coworkers, “These people can’t read.”
Things only got worse. After grabbing chips and water, we paid, but this same lady came to our table with an attitude, questioning us as if we were thieves, asking if we paid. I could tell by her hostility that this was racially motivated, but I stayed calm.
Later, when the hot dogs were finally ready, we got one and paid again – but this time, another employee rang us up, not her. As we were leaving, she screamed at us, accusing us of not paying, in the nastiest tone you can imagine. When I responded that she was just assuming things, her coworker finally corrected her, telling her that he was the one who processed our payment.
This was a disgusting, overt display of racism. This lady acted hostile from the moment we walked in, targeting us for no reason other than her prejudiced assumptions. This was our first time in this town, and it left a sour taste in our mouths.
If you’re considering stopping here, beware of the racist behavior from this woman. I hope management steps in to address this blatant racism.

I go to Stewarts for their milk and hot fudge sundaes made with pistachio ice cream and extra hot fudge...delicious.
That milk cards save me a free jug every ten visits!
