“It's been a journey to bookmark this exact place, but I finally got it last year and so knew exactly where to return this year on my latest visit to the area. I come here for the pies. There are produce stands a plenty in the area, and many laid out more attractively than this very rustic farm stand. However! The homemade pies here stand out from all the other ones. They don't come wrapped in plastic and stamped with a label. You really have no idea who makes these or what allergens might be in there! There's just a small, handwritten script label of the pie flavor. And according to long-time owner Norman, some nice old ladies make these pies for him and the no frills packaging and cursive scrawl would support this! The flavors range from blueberry, cherry, apple, strawberry rhubarb, and berries of the forest. The latter two are my faves. The pie lattice is SUPREME! Even my very skilled baker friend commented on this when I shared a slice with her. The filling is fruity, though sometimes you get more sauce than fruit chunks. Still that doesn't stop me from devouring this delicious creation.”

“Hidden gem! We were on our way back from Canada and googled this place since it was right off the Taconic Parkway. Went apple picking and bought apple cider donuts and peach pie. Best apples and peach pie I’ve ever had we will definitely be returning. Owner was so friendly. He let me pick some sunflowers to take home since it was the end of the season. Such a nice people. Thank you for a wonderful experience.❤️”

“Great selection of high quality foods. I also like how Tyler and Bianca work well together. Tyler is an amazing chef, and he operates on weekends, and most weekdays. The cooler is stocked with produce, hand cooked meals, and amazing both whole milk and chocolate milk. The store also has a nice array of hand carved, and hand painted items as well. All in all it is a very nice store”

“Nice place. Fairly new construct, but some aisles were not fully stocked. Check out was a nightmare. 2 self checkouts had lines 6 deep, and the one cashier was trying hard to keep up with people on her line. Money was saved as the prices were very good.”

“Stopped by on our way back from Coxsackie and was blown away by the breadth, depth, and quality of the offerings in the retail store. The in-store bakery produces a stunning array of fresh-baked treats from pound cake to pretzels. The meat case made me drool and I can't think of anywhere else I can find Northwind Farm ribeyes, which are incredible. The curation of imported goods, combined with on-farm preserves, produce, etc, is unique. Definitely worth a detour.”
