If I could give zero stars, I would.
I ordered a refurbished Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2, which was supposed to arrive in one week. Instead, it took 18 days, and when it finally showed up, it was the wrong item—I only received controller accessories, not the actual controller.
I called customer service, and was told I had to drive 50 minutes to a GameStop store to return the incorrect item before they would send the right one. I explained that the mistake was theirs, not mine, and asked if they could just email me a return shipping label to avoid wasting time and gas. I also asked if they could go ahead and ship the correct item since my order was already 11 days late. They refused and said it was “company policy.” When I asked to speak to a manager, I was told they would say the same thing.
At that point, I asked for a refund instead. Again, I was told I’d have to go to the store to return the item. I voiced concern because the item I received was worth less than what I paid. The representative said it wouldn’t be a problem and emailed me a letter to bring to the store.
Today, I went to GameStop, and the store manager had to call customer service—only to be told that the store couldn’t process the return after all. I was emailed a shipping label and told I now had to take the package to UPS myself.
This entire process has been frustrating, disorganized, and a total waste of time. Between the delayed delivery, receiving the wrong item, the lack of accountability, and poor customer service, I will never shop at GameStop again.

I went to the store today and was pointed in the absolute wrong direction and after being pushed to buy the wrong product instead of what I first asked for. ones I figured out I was sold the wrong thing, I to tried to fix the problem they told me there was nothing they could do. The staff is not are un educated and have no clue on what they are even selling. Vary disappointed and I recommend anyone to not buy here.

I appreciate that nobody bothered me and could just browse on my own.

I'd advise against trusting anything the sales people tell you about their warranties and protection plans. They will lie about what it covers to make the sale, but when you try and use it, they will deny it covers what they say it did.

It's alright, has a decent selection, but kinda overpriced. But I understand that, given it seems to rarely ever have business anymore.
I guess Hudson isn't the largest city in the world, and the video game world is slowly shifting to being all digital. Still, for what it's worth, it's nice to still have a physical game store nearby.
I hope that it one day returns to being a booming business, the type that I used to love visiting when I was younger.
But until then, it's nice to still be able to trade in some valuables every so often.
Gamestop doesn't pay as highly though, and lately they've moved to just trying to put the money on a prepaid VISA card, instead.
I guess times have really been tough, it's hard to get straight cash when trying to trade in valuables here. Still, at least it's still up and running which is nice.
I visit it every so often, and will continue to do so for the foreseeable future until it inevitably closes, if it continues on its current path. But hopefully that doesn't happen anytime soon!
I miss this place. The Staff are nice and they keep their store quite neatly organized. I truly do hope that one day it becomes a massive success, once again!
I'll be keeping an eye on this place for the foreseeable future, for sure! ?

I don't play games. But, I came here to buy my grandson a new game controller. Well, the one I bought had a problem with the left thumb stick. You would think it would be a simple return or swap out. But no, not with these guys. I didn't even have the thing 30 minutes before Charley told me about the faulty stick. But they wouldn't let me return it for a working item. Congratulations Lame Stop. You ripped off a senor citizen.

Every time I try to walk in they always have their doors locked during business hours. When looking to try to find out why this is, my findings keep coming up saying that they do this because they're understaffed and to reduce risk of theft. I let Corporate know about and they said that they would look into it. Hopefully something can be done about this soon because I feel they don't want our business anymore.

Workers don't work. They sit on the counter and talk, ignoring customers.
