“We moved up here in 2018, and we just worked with Pondside to design and install planting in front of our house. From putting in a system to pull water way from the house to patiently walking us through all of the proposed planting and then meeting with us to walk us through post-planting aftercare, I have been super-impressed! We're using plants that are indigenous to the area, help the general wellbeing of the ecosystem and will work with climate change. The planting has been nothing short of stunning (there's even a dash of flowers that match our front door color - this makes all the landscaping really pop) - it's a hit not just with us but also with our neighbors who are now asking for Pondside's contact information. We've worked with a fair number of folks as we slowly make improvements to our home that fit in our budget and Pondside has been exemplary to work with - I enthusiastically recommend Pondside.”

“The staff was very helpful finding me the right type of Bird seed to continue feeding the birds & wildlife at my mother's house and dont forget about propane tank filling and all there wonderful plants and trees. It's a great local spot for most of your gardening needs.”

“FIRST OFF I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOME DEPOT AT ALL ..... I've been shopping at HD since it opened in Catskill . I have NEVER been spoken to in a horrible manner EVER ! the women in the garden department Kathy was beyond rude. my husband & I were having a conversation and she just assumed it was directed towards her . She embarrassed us in front of customers so bad & was so rude the lady behind us gave us her number to have her as a witness . This Kathleen practically threw my receipt at me no thank you , have a good day just complete rudeness . I will be contacting the corperate office in the morning , she needs to be fired . I'll be shopping at Lowe's from here on out & will be posting about my experience on social media and asking for everyone to share my experiece . “Stopped by on our way back from Coxsackie and was blown away by the breadth, depth, and quality of the offerings in the retail store. The in-store bakery produces a stunning array of fresh-baked treats from pound cake to pretzels. The meat case made me drool and I can't think of anywhere else I can find Northwind Farm ribeyes, which are incredible. The curation of imported goods, combined with on-farm preserves, produce, etc, is unique. Definitely worth a detour.”
