5/29/2022Last week I came to Staples in Hudson, NY,2 days for some COLOR PRINTING.I wish to compliment Staples for having,a PROFESSIONAL crew in the printing Dept:Truly Knowledgeable,Made It Very Easy for me to print my own,Amazing Customer Service; patient, niceThese Were: CAITY, PATESHIA, and AALIYAH,Not to forget ILLYA at the register,whose expertise in Technology I am familiar with.The next day I came back but this time I let the experts do my printing;JUSTIN and again ILLYA, handled my request so Professionally.Today I needed to call and JIMMY who answeredis of the same wonderful, caring personality.Thank you Staples for having this Wonderful Crew.YEAHH they deserve to be recognized,..........F A

Here's what's good about Staples: the tech manager Illya! Having internet problems at home, researching in an area I am entirely ignorant about (all things internet) I read about routers, and picked one and Illya helped me and talked me into a better one and . . . explained why! That made me feel confident I was purchasing the right product for my needs. Very, very helpful. He assured me I could even open up the router and try hooking up before the Mid-Hudson cable tech guy came and . . . return an open box. He even wrote his name on the receipt in case he was not there when I tried to return. While he was ringing me up, I did a quick check on Amazon, and he matched the price. So: I suggest an Amazon search and request a price match. My Mid-Hudson cable tech later told me Staples inflates prices on its tech products, so that's a good suggestion to run an Amazon price check before ringing out at Staples. And what this saved me was the misery of shopping at Walmart and the feared hell that would be Walmart returns if that were needed.

I went into staples to get a monitor. Teresa helped me find it. She was incredibly nice and helpful. I didn't think I could have fun at a office store but Teresa made it happen.

the store manager will not protect an employee from a known felon. whos only reason to go there was t o harass and intimidate an employee. when asked to leave he plays some made up tape saying the employee committed a hate crime against him with no proof. shop elsewhere if manager teresa treats her employees like that imagine how she'll treat the customer

Usually you visit a staples that is closest to you so its not as easy to tell you go elsewhere. The hudson location has employees that have very poor personal hygiene and the young lady that takes orders to print orders has a terrible attitude. It's sad that convenient places like this will likely not last much longer as the internet continues to beat their prices and you wont have to deal with the above mentioned issues.

FRAUDULENT BUSINESS PRACTICES! I went to Staples, Hudson to make copies of several flyers. I was shocked at the expensive price but only when I got home did I review the receipt. There was an unexplained charge of $42 dollars. I called the store, and they told me it was a surcharge for doing my job as a "rush job" above all other jobs! First of all, there was NO ONE in the store because it was Memorial Day. Second of all, NO ONE told me they were tacking on so much money or even gave me a choice if I wanted what they call "a rush job." I would have been happy to come back rather than pay that amount of money for nothing. I was so angry that the clerk on the phone said they would refund the $42. But it was only AFTER I screamed that they agreed to do the refund. The clerk admitted, "A lot of people have trouble with this charge." No Kidding! Anyway, I did get the refund in my next credit card statement. But, Buyer Beware!!!

Because of work I'm very often using the Staples Print Center. Caity, who I've worked with several times, is always super friendly and makes sure we are happy with how the job comes out. She has gone above and beyond to get us a great finished product. Amazing customer service!
