Horrible accommodations! - Bedbugs, roaches and mice everywhere. Very antisemitic too. They called the police and threw out myself and my entire family on (Shabbos) Saturday morning for no reason whatsoever. Top lawyers are on the case. Big lawsuit coming up! No place for antisemitism. Shame on you and your staff at hunter lodge. Go elsewhere!

Expensive place with a sparse breakfast. No dining (even though advertised as such). Bar is closed. No tea kettle or safe in room. And they charge $5 per bag for short term (1 to 2 hours) of storage.
Otherwise good location and reasonable rooms.

My wife and I have stayed at Hunter Lodge twice this year for some quick downtime—once in May and again in August. The lodge is truly beautiful, with plenty of cozy nooks to sit, chat, read, or work, all near inviting fireplaces. We loved our rooms, which had a charming rustic elegance, always clean and refreshing, and with the added bonus of a stunning view of the mountains. We’ll definitely be returning

What a great location, decor was causal yet cool. Overall very unique property and worth the stay. Staff were great and really enjoyed our last minute stop on Hunter Mountain.

Great hotel! Staff was very kind and helpful. Our car broke down and because it was Sunday and a long weekend, there were no auto shops open. The woman at the front desk was very kind and helped put us in contact with someone she knew who could help us. Rooms were clean and spacious. The location is right next to Hunter mountain and some really good restaurants and cafes close by.

We were pleasantly surprised when we visited Bluebird by Lark at Hunter this past June 2024. The accommodations were fresh and we felt very comfortable. The staff was pleasant and it was nice to grab some breakfast when we left before getting on the road. We have told several people what a great getaway it was and we will be back. The only negative is that the bathroom/shower area was a little tight. We loved how we could walk right out to a lovely patio, fire pit and cornhole.
Rooms: The room was clean and well appointed.
Safety: We felt very safe.
Food and drinks: We had a delicious dinner at the lodge right in the hotel.

We had a blast here. Staff was so nice. Devon was congenial and friendly. First time in the Catskills. Peter made an excellent margaritas and the beers were tasty. Staff very friendly and accommodating to our doggie

Great place, we had a room with mountain view. Wonderful to wake up in the morning with so much green around! Very spacious room, clean, comfortable bed, all perfect. Breakfast very good selection of basics, good coffee and also almond milk, which is rare to find!!!
And at any time, free coffee and tea in the lobby?
Rooms: Very spacious, lots of space, balcony on the mountain view, large comfortable bed, big tv screen, great shower and very good cleaning soap, shampoo, conditioner and body lotion!

We stayed here on our way up to Vermont and also on our way back home to DC.
The restaurant is decent. Has gf options. The rooms have poor lighting at night and the tvs are not great. Additionally the first night we stayed here the doors did not lock. For example, the balcony did not lock and the door attached to the room next door did not lock. This is a safety hazard and if you are traveling as a solo traveler and identify as a woman this may be unsafe. Then, the second time we stayed here we had a lock issue again, this time the door (entrance of the room) would not lock from the inside. Again, for anyone traveling alone or even with kids this is an issue and a major safety hazard and a concern.
When we stayed here there was no one available to check us out so I wasn’t able to raise our concerns.
Last note - this is a dog friendly hotel which is why we stayed here but many people leave their dogs in the rooms unattended and this causes for a lot of barking.
This hotel is not worth the price if you are staying here.
Rooms: Poor lighting
Safety: Doors do not lock

Rooms: I booked the bunk beds for 4 people..i thought they were going to be small. 8 people can easily sleep in there.
Food and drinks: Their tavern offers a 'smash' burger that's very yummy. Only thay is not smashed..its a legit double cheeseburger. I usually dont like buffalo sauce, but i tried my friends and those were the best buffalo wings i've ever had. I think they keep underestimating their crowd because both nights we wen to eat there was ONE guy doing everything. He did an amazing job but desperately needs help.

Visited July 2024. Excellent check in and atmosphere. Team members knew all about area. My grandaughter lost her IPad on the trip. In retracing steps after we left, I called the Lodge. TEAM MEMBER Ana was the best. She immediately checked lost and found and managers office. Team member Ana then took my number and shared she will call back after checking housekeeping. Next day Ana called to share did not find I pad. HOWEVER I greatly appreciate the caring effort and communication. I managed two best Westerns and I can share without any hesitation. Ana is the real deal. Confident, respectful and a great representative of the Blue Bird team.

Great stay at this beautifully renovated hotel. The rooms were beautiful, cool, and spotless and we had a great time staying here as a family. We stayed in a bunk room which was a lot of fun. The room was great but definitely could have used a bit more lighting aside from the bedside lamps as it was very dark/ hard to see. Location is in a great spot and there is lots to do in the area. They offered complementary breakfast which made things so easy in the morning, as well as warm soft baked cookies in the evening. Staff was all very friendly, helpful, and inviting.
We did have dinner at the tavern the night we stayed, and the food was very average, but did the trick after a long day of hiking and swimming.
All of that being said, we had a wonderful time and we would definitely stay here again.

Rooms smelled like skunk juice.
Complaining didn't help they said I should just hush and that they are doing just fine without my family.
