My stay at Bluebird Hotel at Hunter Mountain was an absolute delight from start to finish! Every aspect of this charming establishment exceeded my expectations, leaving me eager to return for another visit.First and foremost, the people at Bluebird Hotel truly made my experience unforgettable. From the warm greeting upon arrival to the attentive service throughout my stay, the staff went above and beyond to ensure I felt welcomed and cared for. Their genuine hospitality and friendly demeanor created a welcoming atmosphere that instantly made me feel at home. The location of the hotel couldn't be more perfect for those seeking a mountain getaway. Nestled amidst the breathtaking scenery of Hunter Mountain, every window offered stunning views of the surrounding natural beauty. Whether I was enjoying my morning coffee or exploring the nearby mountains, the serene ambiance of the location was truly rejuvenating. Now let's talk about the shower – a seemingly mundane aspect of any hotel, but at Bluebird Hotel, it was a delightful surprise! The luxurious rainfall shower head provided a blissful escape after a long day of winter sporting adventures. The water pressure was perfect, and the temperature control made for a spa-like experience that left me feeling refreshed and revitalized. Don’t get me started on the scent of the shampoo and body wash! Amazing! As for the rooms, they were nothing short of exceptional. Impeccably clean, cozy, and tastefully decorated, my room felt like a serene sanctuary after a day of exploration. The plush bedding ensured a restful night's sleep, and the thoughtful amenities provided everything I needed for a comfortable stay.Overall, my time at Bluebird Hotel at Hunter Mountain was simply magical. From the wonderful people to the breathtaking location, the heavenly shower, and the cozy rooms, every detail exceeded my expectations. I cannot recommend this gem of a hotel enough - it truly was a delightful stay.

I thought Hunter Lodge was a larger hotel conglomerate, but upon arrival we were greeted by an ultra friendly family ran business. My gf unfortunately blew out her knee skiing in the first of 2 nights of our stay and the staff was extremely accommodating. Facilities are super cute and the bar/restaurant was vibey and tasty!thanks again mom!

Went for dinner. Left because the woman behind the stick was abrasive and confrontational, with a potty mouth to boot. Major turnoff. I had been warned, so shame on me. Took my show to a competitor up the road. Manager (to their credit) seemed to intuitively understand what the problem was, but what remains to be seen is how they solve for it. If they get better help, I'll give it a second shot and review accordingly.

Nice view, clean room, perfect heat, nice hot water shower. However, can't get good rest at all because there's a tapping sound (staff said it's the pipe) all night long.

The only good thing about this place is the view and the food, the general manager Rachel likes to give all her old employees bad reviews even when they were good like Jackie she needs to be stopped or they will never have good employees I hope they learn from there mistakes moving forward I haven’t worked there in over a year I’m a manager at a company since I left so I did not need to post this review but its upsetting going there to stay when I know the people running it are not good to there employeesSafety: They do not follow protocols

**** DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!****The staff is Absolutley horrible…. Rude from the moment I walked in.. …. We ordered a room with two beds…. (WHICH THEY DID HAVE AVAILABLE)… and instead of switching us from a room with one bed to a room with two double beds, they decided to charge us $75 more. Which was 60% more than the room had already cost us. Keep in mind almost ANY hotel would just switch you at no charge…. The room is identical minus the one bed…. The breakfast was stale and others were complaining…asked for extra towels and had to call 3 times in an hour and wait to shower because the room had none….The shower wouldn’t get hot (IN THE MIDDLE OF WINTER MIND YOU)… problems go on and on….But the real reason I’ll NEVER step foot near this property again is because of the nasty self entitled sorry excuse for a manager this past Sunday 1/7…. Clearly her life has a lot more going on for her to be so nasty, but I suppose it starts with running a hole in the wall property….What’s even worse, is I SPECIFICALLY told the manager I come up to VT often with groups of people and if she wishes to charge me this $75, I’ll make sure to tell all 10 people that I came up to Vermont with, to make posts on our social media pages telling all our other friends that ski and snowboard to Never entertain this property…. She said “I don’t care, I get paid the same” to which at this point her coworker kind of looked at her in disbelief….They were charging more than the hunter mountain hotel which is an absolute joke… NEVER AGAIN*****Bar and restaurant not open during our stay because of “staffing issues” lol GET IT TOGEGHER…. This is one of those properties that hire an interior designer and think poof! “We made it in the hospitality biz”…. Sadly mistaken with all these horrid reviews…..This place has basement rooms for god sake!!!! It’s a motel at best. The name “Hunter lodge” shouldn’t even be allowed because it’s misleading… it makes it sound like it’s the Hunter mountain lodge which it’s anything but lol…Any owner that takes his property and business seriously, would immediately rid their business of this POORLY PERFORMING MANAGER….. because I can PROMISE this will ultimately cost them a lot more than that measly $75…. (But hey, her paychecks gonna be the same, right?)(that girl manager that was working on 1/7 is single handedly ruining your business and will cause prob 100+ skiers and snowboarders to hear about what happened through our social media accounts. Get rid of the witch)

Fantastic hotel! Perfect location, very close to the mountain. Recently renovated. Super clean and cozy. Aurora at the front desk was incredible; her hospitality and attentiveness made my stay more memorable. Highly recommend this hotel.

Great hotel. Right near the mountain. The loft room was excellent— perfect for the adults upstairs and kids downstairs. We stayed on the mountain side. The bar/restaurant area is nice with a fireplace and live music. Cozy lounge areas. I have two minor complaints which is why I didn’t give it 5 stars. The maid service didn’t come when I arrived back at my room late in the afternoon, however the girl at the desk promptly made up the room. My other complaint is the skylight. While it makes the room bright during the day, it is extremely bright in the morning and wakes you up early if you want to sleep in— it’s very big and directly over the loft bed. They should install a shade or blinds or something. Bring a sleep mask. Other than that, this is a great hotel.

Before my arrival I was told that I can leave my bags at the reception because the check in for rooms were very late. However on my arrival I felt unwelcomed by very mean and rude staff who was very annoyed that I had brought luaggages early. They told me to leave my bags on the floor and said that they were not responsible if anything happens to them. So since I needed to leave my bags in order to ski I hid my bag behind the christmas tree. However a very angry reception lady yelled at me and made a huge deal about me hiding my bag behind the christmas tree. I told her I wanted to hide it so that nobody could steal it but she didnt care. She was veryyy rude about it. I felt very unsafe. So I ended up leaving my bag on the floor in the wide open lobby where any stranger and spot it. Then the next morning I walked passed that christmas tree and I realized people had left 4 big luaggages behind the christmas tree. I knew that the receptionist only was mean to me and my belongings because I was a young asian. And that she allowed only white old americans to leave their bags and only cared for white peoples bag. I would definitely not recommend this place to asians and blacks. They will treat you and your belongings like garbage. It is only a place for welcoming old white americans. I was very hurt by the fact that they wouldnt let me put my bags in a safe place but allowed a white family to hide their bags safely. Felt so much racism. The whole staff is very rude probably treated me like a stupid asian that does not know about leaving reviews. I would recommend booking your stay at the other side of hunter lodge. The resort across the road looked more bigger and had really nice lights. Also this place does not have a bar and restaurant working on weekdays it is only for weekends. And the free breakfast is just one bagel. The resort across the road from hunter lodge seemed much more of a welcoming destination.Safety: Very unsafe. Staff does not give a single **** about your belongings.

Don’t get fooled by the stylish design! Rooms are relatively comfortable but that’s pretty much all that place has to offer. Service is terrible borderline non existent, staff must have been trained from a book called “unfortunately we can’t and we can’t be bothered being welcoming and/or helpful”. From Sunday to Thursday, you will have no bar, no drinks, no food. I had better breakfast on highway motels. I am not sure how they can claim to be an “hotel” or “lodge”as they provide none of the basic services. Finally room cleaning is running up until 4:30pm so don’t expect to be able to find a clean fresh room when you come back skiing. One of these typical places where a lot of effort has been spent on interior design and nice pictures but that is actually run on the cheap by inexperienced staff.
