I'm not a skier or snowboarder, but I do love Hunter! the lodge is nice to hang out in and I enjoy going tubing (especially with the conveyer belt that Carrie's you back up to the top)! The zip line is my absolute favorite- longest and highest in North America, I believe! it's not for the faint of heart but SOOO fun and well worth the money. The scariest zip line is your first, so once you conquer that you can just enjoy yourself from there. Go in the fall with the leaves changing and enjoy an absolutely beautiful view!

I would avoid if there are other options. The good:1) Picked a great day! Fresh snow!!!The bad1) Way too crowded2) Workers start preparing to end the day around 3:40pm... For example, they start to put away the line that separate the different lanes to the chair lift.1) Ski lift operators do not seem to pay attention to the skiers when they are getting on the lift or when they are getting off the chair. They do not slow down the lifts. Literally, the operator intentionally speed up the lift and the chair slammed into my back..... And when getting off they don't pay attention either. I literally had to jump of the chair because again they did not pace it and make sure all skiers have gotten off safely.3) No ski patrol!!! At least while we were on the slope, I did not see one single ski patrol.3) Bathroom was filthy

Mark, Ryan and the whole staff hooked up tubing for our whole group and went the extra mile to ensure we all had a great time. Fair price. Good speed. Snow and spins. Get it!

Vail doesnt blow enough snow when Temps are cold weather and moves around shaved ice. Doesn't have enough trails open. North is always icy. Maintenance of trails is poor. Few trails open. Rocks and ice get moved around. VAIL NEEDS TO BLOW SNOW regularly worst Jan/Feb skiing in 2023. season pass here is a waste

Get woke, go Broke. Hunter does not support police and easily caves to the woke mob.

The food at this place is theft. I won't go into details but pack your own meal for lunch. Otherwise you will pay a small fortune for a Burger King type meal. Extremely disappointing. The mountain is ok.

Call two days in advance to go on the SkyRide. They say they're open till 4:00. I get there at 2:00. I travelled 130 miles to get there. They closed the tide for so-called "maintenance "

Went here with a group for a day to skii. This is my first time skiing and was very excited for this day. Got here and it immediately was messy. Staff just wanted to go fast and give everyone the skii rentals and could not care less about anything else. As a first timer, I had no idea about anything so I could have appreciated more help. Thankfully a friend knows about skiing and helped us. The slopes... a hot mess. So they have the snow maker but do not use it. By the end of the day it was slurry, watery and just plain dangerous. In the picture you can see al the snow melting. I will admit, I had fun but not because the place was amazing. The food was good but very pricey ($50 for 2 sodas, a bowl of orange chicken and rice and a burger with fries).

Information on the website is inaccurate and unhelpful. Getting information on the phone was frustrating. This has caused inconvenience. I planned a weekend in the Catskills for my family for early February, centered around an afternoon of snowtubing for my four-year-old daughter. I looked at Hunter Mountain's website several times over many months, which had the same information about hours of operation, ticket pricing, etc. However, the website wouldn't go further when I tried to make a reservation (no error notice, just wouldn't make a reservation). It seemed like a website glitch. After calling Hunter Mountain four times to finally reach a live person, I was told the snowtubing park is closed, and even the live person (who was very nice) didn't have any other information about it. If the tubing park was closed, just update your website with that info. It's not hard to update a website and any "resort" as they call themselves should be able to do so. It would have saved me a lot of time, and now I have to scramble to find something else.

Good:- Lots of black and double black options, ideal for advanced skiiers- Main 6 person lift was quick and rather comfortable to ride to summit- Trails are interesting and fun. Some icy, but normal for late March.Bad:- Rentals is slow. They need more people working, better ratio of employees to visitors. Employees are lax and don't have sense of urgency even when there's a line. Totally not okay for a mountain that closes at 4PM... time gets wasted.- I really wish they would have cubbies. Totally easy to have that outside and simply say they're not responsible for any items. Ran out of mini lockers and had to get a big one for $13 for only 1 pair of shoes, which I was not expecting. Totally criminal.

Zipline Tour was great. Need to get another gang together to do it again. It'll get your blood pumping.

Summer lift to the top was a great value. $10.00 up and you can walk down or take the lift down. It's beautiful up at the top
