Man at front desk was so incompetent, walked in and he was having trouble with the customer reservation, told them to step aside so he could help me, had res # and everything. He couldn't figure out what was wrong. Took 30 mins to actually get keys in my hand and couldn't articulate what the problem was. He even changed my dropp date and time and said " it's fine" . Completely unprofessional, either guy stinks at job or wasn't trained enough and shouldn't have been unsupervised in store. I'll drive the extra 10 mins to enterprise next time.

The staff here makes renting a car a pleasure. Customer service is at top of mind. Warm, friendly, personalized service. The way all businesses should be run. Highly recommend this location! Wonderful people.

This was an absolute awful experience. I was first given a Volkswagen Jetta and when I opened the door, three empty water bottles fell out and fast food wrappers littered the passenger seat. When I refused this vehicle, I was “upgraded” to a Ford sedan. This vehicle was even worse. The entire cloth interior was completely stained as if the windows had been left open in the rain and the overpowering odor was a mix of weed and body odor. After refusing this car, the employee offered a Dodge Challenger and I thought I was out of the woods. Of all three cars, this one smelled the worst and again, trash was left in the vehicle. By this point, it was raining and I needed to get on the road. An hour into my drive the smell was so bad that I needed to pull over to purchase an air freshener. After an almost 5-hour drive, I was in the last leg of my trip and the check engine light came on. The car went into “limp” mode and I was was unable to accelerate. Fortunately, I made it to my destination and was able exchange vehicle with little to no issues at the local Avis. Because of the unsanitary conditions of the cars and the lack of attention, I will not be renting from this location again.

Awful service. They don't tell you about the hold, that it must be a credit card, or that you better book the day prior regardless of what it says online. Walked out & went elsewhere

Sincerely disappointed with Avis as a company and their choices in management/franchisees. Yesterday in to today has been nothing short of hell on earth dealing with Avis and their shortcomings. Tony here at the Avis in Huntington seemed as if he had no time to even appease my so called “courtesy swap” that was being provided to me after speaking with corporate. I’m sure because my money wasn’t originally spent in this location and at another Avis Tony wasn’t too concerned with my issues or wellbeing because they don’t contribute to his sales. Although I’m sure their business is sales driven there is still a touch of hospitality needed when working in CUSTOMER SERVICE. I’ve been to 4 different locations in the last 36 hours and can assure you, they have ZERO. Their rentals are cheaper because they don’t care. Once you’re in the car and they have your money they’re good. Spend the extra $1-200 on enterprise and save yourself a headache.

The customer service at this location was abysmal. Tony specifically had no compassion or empathy for a customer who was obviously given a bad rental. He was very short with his answers and asked an already frustrated customer to drive an additional 45mins to an hr to be assisted! No professionalism at all, do not come here.
