Building Materials in Huntington Station, NY

“5-star review:

We recently retained Urban Specialty Woods, Inc. to fabricate solid walnut countertops for the new bar in our den renovation — and we couldn’t be happier. Scott and Natasha were a pleasure to work with; they kept constant communication and provided timely updates throughout the project. The final product is absolutely beautiful and fit perfectly. The craftsmanship and attention to detail exceeded our expectations. Highly recommend Urban Specialty Woods to anyone looking for high-quality, custom woodwork.”

“Not being a contractor, requires the staff to be completely knowledgable patient and professional!I got that, making a better purchase than I had planned for and a better more professional job from my effortsYard guy was great, helping me select great boards and load the truck. “Most Professional Toward Women

Now under new management called Powerhouse Depot Mason Supply, and my experience was excellent. As a woman making inquiries in a traditionally male-dominated industry, I especially appreciated the professionalism and respect I received from Eric and Antonio.

They helped me promptly, answered all of my questions thoroughly, and treated me with courtesy from the moment I walked in. Unfortunately, I've had experiences at other businesses where I felt overlooked while male customers were helped first, but that was not the case here.

Eric and Antonio were knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely helpful. Their outstanding customer service brought me back several times for additional supplies. I highly recommend Powerhouse Depot Mason Supply to anyone looking for a welcoming and professional experience.”
