You know.. Andrew was very helpful when I went into the branch regarding a (personal) used car loan. However do not let Bethpage Federal run your credit UNTIL YOU KNOW EVERYTHING. It doesn’t matter how much your business makes you NEED 2 years of tax returns (no wiggle room, providing bank statements wasn’t even an option) no follow up from anyone at the branch regarding my denial because of the required tax returns and had to call the corporate # to find this out a week later.. I guess I got a hard inquiry for nothing but cheers!

Branch manager Elan P. could not care less about customer needs and has absolutely no regard for small business owners or their time. Will tell a customer to their face that she would rather see them close their accounts before giving two minutes of her time to care for their concerns or address their needs. Worst experience I’ve ever come upon from a financial institution in my 18 years of business, and downright ludicrous coming from the largest credit union in NY. Branch manager’s termination was formally requested in writing as this person would greatly benefit from going to charm school before embarking upon a career path in which she is required to work with the public.
