“The people that work here could not be any nicer or more helpful. I came here because I was given a gift card for Christmas. I have honestly not been to a butcher/ meat store like this before and had no idea what to order or how to order. The person that helped me gave me suggestions, toldMe his favorite, how to cook it, and then wrapped them so I could cook some and freeze some. After following his directions I will say the NY Strip I cooked was PERFECT and one of the best pieces of meat I've ever had. I will definitely be back next time I need to get a high quality piece of meat!”
“For the most part, really like this store. However they are a bit pricey The biggest criticism I have is the quality of their produce. Everytime I purchase their lettuce, cucumbers they inevitably go bad WITHIN A WEEK! I do not purchase produce from them anymore! Everything else is ok”
“High-quality products with friendly staff. Also carry odds and ends such as french fries and seasonings. Old-school type of service - asked for a product, they didn't have it and they recommended another place I could get it. Not often that a store will do it.”

“My 1st time at the store & restaurant. Both are clean & tidy & Halal. Halal meat is always fresh, they cannot sell meat from a sick animal as they carry the burden of sins. Great customer service. The food is delicious, not spicy hot. I had ginger chicken & okra.The butcher cut the meat as I asked. This will be my go to butcher & takeout once I'm at the butcher. Give it a try.”
“Bayville Meats is the best!! Their sandwiches are the best I’ve had on Long Island, their prepared food is delicious and of course the quality of meat is excellent!! They also have a wide range of grass fed options which is nice to have. The store team is always so pleasant, we love the meat center!”

“WONDERFUL"butchers". Do not need to buy Big boxes of items. Meaning, you can buy smaller quantities that will last . The butchers are artists who cut/slice your purchase as requested. The Deli guy is fabulous. He knows his art. Helped me make the best! Philly cheese steak ever!! Clean!! No slippery floors. Fresh fruit & vegetables. Always.Helpful staff. Courteous. The managers are super. Do not forget the cashier staff. They are beyond great and genuinely niceNorthport is my store”
“$$$ to shop there. I mainly buy meat there which is excellent quality. Everything else is overboard on its prices. As an example Boar's Head cold cuts are $1.50 to $2.00 a pound more than supermarkets and it shouldn't be. I purchased their pop corn and the kernels were big and tasty, but too much salt. I would like to buy it again and hope it's made with less salt.”
“Live poultry dressed to your preference, with a fairly wide choice of pulley variety, right here on the island! Was not crowded when I went on a Saturday afternoon, was in and out in 15 minutes. Came here to buy chicken, left with duck and chicken eggs around with dressed poultry.We have been coming to Safety Swim around the block for many years without being aware of this hidden gem.They do mind taking photographs / videos, but are otherwise polite, professional, efficient.”
