Chase Huntington NY - Went in to get a signature page notarized. Peter one of the reps there denied it because the signature page said "witness" next to the open space for someone to execute a signature indicating they had witnessed by signature as being authentic. Like thats what a notary does, no? it witnesses a signature for authenticity. Other signing parties went to their respective banks and they got it notarized no problem. Nice Customer Service after being a 30 year + customer of Chase.

I see others agree with the bad reviews. 2.4 reviews! Wow! I had spoken to 3 men that worked there about an error that they made that kept me on the phone with Optimum for hours. It was the bank's fault and they kept saying it wasn't. Well it was!! Ryan and Keith were both misinformed about the information. Also Griffin is a rude man that couldn't even look me in the eyes as he dismissed me! Who do you people hire and who does he think he is? Learn some manners young man!

Wanted to purchase yen. The teller was not able to help me. Further questions only made the situation worse and her attitude was arrogant to cover up her lack of knowledge.

I have been banking with this branch over 25 years. Half the time the ATM machines don't work. Yesterday I deposit 800 dollar check at 3pm into the ATM. Machine. This morning no money in my account and I am overdrawn by 300 dollars. I went down to the bank and was told they been having problems with the ATM. They called someone at Corp. N was told this has been happening. But it's Friday and I won't get my money till next work day which will be Monday. 3 days from now. They lost my deposit and I now have to wait for my money. It seems to always be one thing or another n I end up waiting for my money. Glad I leave my investments and savings with another bank. Because I would be very co corn about larger amounts of money

Today Sept 29th I am giving them zero stars. I have been banking at this branch for 13 years. They know me. They know my name. I got to the bank at 4:40 bank closes at 5pm. Doors were locked but there were people inside and tellers behind the counter. Someone was actually being helped. All I needed was change for my restaurant just singles. I communicated this to a banker through the door and he asked one of the head tellers and she just walked away. It took me 40 min to get there because of the rain. I could have even used the auto teller but they refused to let me in. Not a good way to keep customers. I understand the rain aspect but it was 20 min before closing.

The best thing about this bank (Huntington branch anyway) is that they offer you a lollipop. Always take the lollipop. It is worth more than the interest they pay on your accounts. They have replaced friendly helpful employees with a constantly revolving door of the most recent graduates. You will have to wait for the financial managers and consultants to finish the Whoppers at their desks before getting anything notarized. Stop telling us you are in a meeting, we see you sucking on that Big Gulp from the lobby. The Citibank across the street notarizes etc even if you do not have an account there. And please stop calling me by my first name. The marketing department instructs the tellers to create a warm fuzzy atmosphere. We are not related. My friends do not check my id every time I visit. I have asked many people, even strangers: no one likes this. You are a stranger who has his hands on my money and I will never see you again when lifeguard hiring season starts next spring. And get this... their security cameras do not work. Last summer a neighbor lost her wallet in the parking lot. She returned immediately to check if anyone turned it in or if they could identify who found it and they told her that the cameras do not work. So either that is true or they lied to her, pick one. Sadly, honest to gawd, this branch is so much better than Hicksville. They don't even have the lollipops.

Rude, incompetent staff, shockingly unprofessional management. The employees of this branch behave as though they're doing you a favor by acknowledging your presence. It's bizarre and disgusting...An oddly accurate representation of this grotesquely corrupt corporate entity. Defund big banks and the soulless minions that work for them.

I stopped in there twice and tried to get help with an account issue and got no help from them after they said they would take care of it. Then when I asked for help from the branch manager he provided no help and was rude and argued with me. I’ve been a Chase customer almost 20 years and this is by far the worst service I have had in any branch ever. Stay away

I've been a chase customer almost 20 years and this is by fare the worst branch I have ever been to. I went there twice to resolve an account issue and got nowhere. The branch manager was rude and no help at all. I resolved the problem over the phone on my own.

This branch went from "acceptable" to not longer "positive" in any regard. The If the branch as a location was OK with dated furniture and decor, but convenient parking lot and enough ATM machines, the personnel now is simply incompetent and rude. Maybe these are new people in the branch, with little training in everyday banking needs and how to use computer software (which is not the greatest to start with: e.g. navigation is not practical). What is annoying the lack of customer service when you call in" the phone is never answered by a person. Instead, the generic message refers you to the 800 number of the Chase bank and does not give an opportunity to even leave a message for a banker. The fact, that this announcement ends in "good-bye" shows a lack of curtesy and loyalty. The 800 number is another disaster: after endless announcements events and menus, you might find a person to explain your needs. That person (and I tried different one) is customarily also incompetent, transfers the call to another department, and the call ends with a busy signal! LOUSY!
