We recently had our daughter's Bat Mitzvah reception here. Beautiful venue for a party. Second floor, especially, has an old-world, elegant appeal. Food is outstanding, their catering chef truly cares. Staff/servers are all professional, friendly, pleasant, and helpful. Our event ran like clockwork.The catering/event manager was, quite literally, in the middle of preparations for her own wedding around the time of planning for our event. She was professional and well-intentioned, but her mind was often elsewhere (as is to be expected from someone planning their own wedding while working). Although she tried hard, various important details during the planning process fell through the cracks that almost derailed our party. It was not, however, her fault.The GM, Matt Tucker, was M.I.A. throughout all of this. Rather than offering help to his overextended event manager, he decided to hide and not assist, despite our asking multiple times for his participation and oversight. He was always "unavailable" or "at another appointment." Once our event was over, I took it upon myself to meet with him personally to express my concerns on what had taken place leading up to our event. All of the numerous issues. I was met with a lot of head nodding, and promises he would follow up to "make things right", which all, ultimately, proved to be insincere lip service. The guy simply doesn't care, and it's a shame.Three stars for excellent food and service, but abysmal oversight and management from their M.I.A. GM.

This review is for Cold Spring Harbor Country Club...not Oheka Castle. Situated around the gorgeous landmark, this course is well kept, has some good length and offers beautiful views/photo opportunities with the castle in the backdrop. Since the course runs down from castle there is a decent amount of undulation (hills) which make for a challenge with uneven lies and breaking putts on the greens. The staff is amazing from the pro shop and caddies to the dining room staff and maintenance workers. 10/10 country club experience. Definitely recommend playing/visiting if you're fortunate enough to have the opportunity.

I did not play golf, however visited the property (Oheka Castle)The estate, including the golf course, is visible from the Castle and road, and if impeccably maintained.

The exceptional service and expertise of our caddy, Chef (Mark), added an extra layer of enjoyment to our round.Chef, was a fantastic guide throughout the course. His knowledge of the game and friendly demeanor created a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. He shared insightful tips and engaging stories that made our golfing experience truly unforgettable.Speaking of the club, the course was an absolute gem. Every inch of the fairways and greens was meticulously maintained, showcasing the club's commitment to excellence. The picturesque views and challenging layout made each hole a joy to play. Cold Spring Country Club offers a golfing experience that caters to players of all skill levels.Cold Spring Country Club's amenities were top-notch. The clubhouse provided a luxurious and inviting atmosphere, and the dining options were outstanding.A heartfelt thank you to the entire team at Cold Spring Country Club, especially to Chef for making our day truly memorable.

Google Maps update 11/18/22 is incorrect of Cold Spring Country Club. Address correct. PHOTOS and REVIEWS are incorrect as they are for Oheka Castle located near-by. GOOGLE needs to correct immediately.Cold Spring Country Club is a beautiful golf and event location for any occasion, for their members as well as the public. Management and kitchen chefs and staff are top notch. Always beautifully decorated, delicious food! Highly recommend.
