I took my dog Benny here for PT and acupuncture every Monday for nearly 2 years. Without the help of Victoria and Riley in PT and Dr. Donato who did his acupuncture, Benny would not have been able to continue living a comfortable life. Benny has multiple issues, arthritis, disc issues, ACL and joint issues. You could truly see a difference in his day to day comfort due to these wonderful folks. Benny was genuinely excited to go here each week which speaks to the kind of care they provide. I highly recommend them for anyone considering these treatment options. Even the front office staff is amazing. Thanks to all at GCCVC, Benny and I will truly miss you.

Victoria and Riley are absolutely fantastic Physical Rehabilitators. Lucky, our 7 year old black lab absolutely adored them and loved his visits with them while they helped him heal and recover from a knee replacement. Here he is on his last day showing his displeasure that PT had come to an end.

Victoria and her staff were incredible in helping our Laila recover from a torn Cruciate Ligament. The front desk staff were always friendly and helpful. Laila is back to full strength like it never happened. Thank you all so much!

Dr. Petroff at Gold Coast Center for Veterinary Care has worked wonders with our rescue, Amelia. We were at wits end when we first brought Amelia to Dr. Petroff. Amelia would constantly go after our other dog, have serious meltdowns, and had extreme separation anxiety. Amelia lost part of a limb at the puppy mill, and we had to have the rest of the leg amputated. We therefore also felt bad for what she had gone through in her short time on earth, and tended to baby her rather than train effectively.
Dr. Petroff was attentive, empathetic, professional, and really got to know our Amelia. It has been approximately 9 months, and Amelia is the sweetest girl! She loves everyone and all other pets. She now brings us joy everyday. I highly recommend Dr. Petroff!

(realize I posted only stars but no reasoning before their response). 5 stars for a terrificly friendly staff and informative consultation. If you need a specialist for your pup, or I am sure any other animal, Gold Coast are great. I feel much better about more dog's heart health after just a 30 minute visit. Dr. Blass offered a thorough explanation, answered my questions, and was even nice enough to provide a written up report without even asking for it. Thanks so much, team!

I have had the pleasure of working with Dr Megan Petroff, a veterinary dog behaviorist, and I can't recommend their services highly enough! From the moment we started our sessions, it was clear that they had a deep understanding of canine behavior and psychology. My four month old puppy, Rosie, was demonstrating signs of aggression and guarding. ?
Dr Petroff took the time to assess my dog's medical and psychological needs and developed a tailored plan that addressed specific issues we were facing. Dr Petroff was incredibly patient, not only with Rosie, but also with me, ensuring I understood each recommendation and protocol. Their methods and recommendations (like seeing a canine neurologist) made a noticeable difference in my dog's behavior, helping to build a stronger, healthier, and happier bond between us.
What I appreciated most was Dr Petroff’s commitment to empowering and supporting me as we navigated some challenging times. She provided insightful advice and practical tools that I could implement at home, leading to lasting changes. Rosie is now more confident and her pain and associated behaviors are managed!
I highly recommend seeking the expertise of Dr Petroff if you have questions or need help with your dog’s behavior. Dr Petroff’s knowledge, compassion, and dedication truly make a difference!

We started seeing Dr. Petroff about 7 months ago and she saved my dogs life in more ways than one. He always had fear and anxiety in ways I thought I understood but it became clear I did not once his reactions escalated. I was at a loss and did not know what to do and Dr. Petroff spent so much time in person and on the phone explaining all options thoroughly and honestly with such compassion we will never forget. You can tell she cares about her patients and their families with the utmost kindness, compassion, and love our animals deserve. She found a treatment and training plan that worked wonders for him. Everyone can see the positive changes in him and the resources she provided allowed me to learn about dog behavior and body language, which allowed me to give him the best life going forward. We owe all his progress to Dr. Petroff and her plan!

These people ROCK! I don't give 5 star reviews because I read somewhere that you should only trust reviews with 2, 3, or 4 stars. So, 4 stars is my superlative. Shout out to Dr. Hunley, who is the kindest, funniest (ask him about his diabolical pal, Chester, if you get a chance!), most thorough medical oncologist I've met. Now that he has been promoted to Medical Director, welcome to Dr. Hohlman, whom Dr. Hunley personally recruited and trained. Dr. Hohlman is not only an assiduous clinician, but she also has a wonderful, great big black lab mix, Finn, whom she brings to work. I had the privilege to watch him sleep at her feet on the floor of her office while we discussed chemo for my cat. I understand Finn got her through vet school. So...he took her exams? (He didn't say.) And, shout out to Dr. Ariel Kravitz, a skilled and dedicated surgeon, who did a superb job when my cat Spice needed a mastectomy. It's definitely worth it to me to drive an hour from the city. - Leigh B.

The team at Gold Coast is amazing. Their support staff is kind, caring and very professional. This team is the best on the Island. They are honest and technically very capable. My Frenchie, Lucy, has been going to Dr Donato and Dr Gest, has had surgery here by Dr Levy and Dr Kramer had pt and seen the heart doctor. They are all excellent if it wasn't for their superior care Lucy wouldn't be here living her best life. I am so grateful.

I like many other have a dog receiving services at the sister office West hills. When my dog tore her ACL we were referred to Gold Coast. Though I do not question the medical side of the service, I do take issue with the way we were treated. I was asked for money up front, which we weren't notified of and they would not even start or hold my dog as I would go to the bank. They don't take checks, Now, I'm a 9 year client at their sister clinic. We never had an issue not paying, so we were in shock when told they wouldn't be able to take my dog and would let us leave. Compassionate. When a mgr? vet tech took my dog (for ransome?) and we promised to be back shortly. We paid and only then would they start the operation. One and half days later we return to pay off the balance and pick up our dog. I paid over $7000 and was told we don't make change. If i'm being treated as a business then why isnt the front staff able to make simple transactions. It was only 20 cents but that's not the point. No follow up calls or as my dog was constipated did they offer to help without a paying visit. Really? I have blindly followed what assumed to be good care and have been sadly disappointed! I have switched to another vet who immediately was supportive and offered care without taking a cent. Follow up calls and services have to be part of a routine (especially after surgery) that I expect but not from West Hills or Gold Coast...Its all about the mighty dollar!! No thank you!!!

Danger has been seeing Dr Donato for integrative medicine as well as chiropractic after he developed serious itching from using a supplement with rice powder which triggered his food sensitivities.
Dr Donato is thorough, caring and gentle. She took a full history and respectfully understands that we feed raw only due to food sensitivities.
She has recommended excellent supplements for heart health and has made up homeopathic solutions that have helped with his itching - which was partly due to pain after falling off the bed. Danger loves his visits with Dr Donato and her assistant, Deborah. We get Dr Donato's full attention every visit! I cannot recommend her highly enough

Dr. Petroff was amazing! I have been struggling to get my 10 month old puppy the proper care she needs, but Dr Petroff takes the time to address your pet's needs and genuinely help. She is very thorough, calm, patient, and informative. I would 100% recommend her!
