it use to be a great store but in the last couple of years its a mess. I try and go to rite aid if I can, but this is so close to home. they are never stocked,,, and the tall guy with the long dark greasy hair is so rude you can't ask him anything without him ready to bite your head off. I was there one day on line and the cashier was so backed up she kept asking for help and that big idiot just walked away. " not my Job" she yelled F--k you all and stormed out. I love the women who works the pharmacy, I wish I can remember her name she has been there years. One time I needed something she tried to get it for me and couldn't she actually went to another store called me and told me she got it. and at least 1 day a week allow someone to be outside trying to get you to donate money to one thing or another, also very annoying. I don't need to be met to feel like crap because I don't want to give to this or that, everyone as something they believe in but the truth is lots of people today are having a hard time they don't need to feel more like crap because they can't give to the ASPCA.

Horrible pharmacy experience. Incredibly rude, one person working the counter while the others stood in the back talking to each other wasting time until they could close.

Store is clean but very under-staffed or mismanaged. Often long lines at checkout. Went for a flu shot and they told me I'd have to wait 45 minutes because they were 'very busy' .... but the place was completely empty and no one was on line or even waiting. Very rude - Seemed clear to me they really just didn't feel like it....

This is not the best CVS I've ever been to. The employees really don't care about you and neither do the pharmacist assistants. There is one pharmacist who is nice which is why I'm giving 3 stars. The location is good, the pharmacist was nice and I found what I needed. Other than that it was a typical crowded CVS Located on New York Ave. in Huntington. The lines were long and there were a lot of people coughing and sniffling! How about hiring more employees? I have been back a few times since and it's okay depending on the time of day. I can usually find what I need so basically it's fine here.

Worst drug store ever. Wait in line forever. They tell you they will expedite you and you wait for more time in another line. Just awful.

I had a terrible experience at this location a few months back. I had purchased some makeup products from here and came back with a few of them about a week later to return some. They were very lightly used and I had the receipt. The guy at the counter said he could only do the return for 2 of the items because the others weren't in their original boxes and he didn't have something to scan. I asked him if it can be done if I were to go grab the boxes that match the items from the aisle just so he had the SKU/barcode to scan, and then put them back on the shelves, he just kind of shrugged and said yeah I guess that works. I have worked in retail and at one point in a makeup store for a very long time and I know for a fact that this was not necessary. Cashiers have access or a way to scan unboxed items, and the customer shouldn't have to offer and go around the store hunting down boxes just because he didn't feel like looking up the barcode number. Anyway, I go around the store get the boxes and bring them back up to the register. The guy who was originally helping me disappeared and so I explained to the new person standing there what I was doing, That I wanted to return items and here are the boxes to scan and then I even offered to put all the items back on the shelves again afterwards. This guy looked at me like I had five heads and was incredibly nasty. I was also wanting to exchange for something else while doing the return. The item I was exchanging for was less money than all the makeup..he told me that the difference would have to go on a store credit because they can't refund money back to your card if it's an exchange. Mind you he had a horrible attitude throughout the whole conversation. So I said okay, so can you return the majority of the items first directly onto my card, and then the remaining 2 items I wanted to return would be almost an even exchange for what I wanted to exchange for. He said he can't do a return twice because the system/register shuts down/blocks it if two are done in a row. Made no sense at all and I know that was a lie. So I said okay fine just do the exchange and give me a store credit for the full difference, at that point I didn't care and was willing to just take a store credit and not get any money back. He told me that they can't give refunds OR GIVE STORE CREDITS for any amount over $40. That $40 is the maximum amount they can give per return. So according to him, if you buy $200 worth of stuff from cvs and want to return it, you have to come back 5 times on 5 different days and only get $40 back at a time. Everything he was saying was a lie and he was one of the rudest most awful cashiers I've ever dealt with. I have never had an experience like this in a store in my entire life. It was as if He literally just decided he didn't like me and wanted to give me a hard time with everything. Basically about 20 minutes was spent with me verbally trying to come up with ideas and work out a way with him that I can get this exchange done, trying to get around all of the imaginary blocks he was putting up to make it impossible. Finally, I decided my only option left was to only return only 2 of the items that day so I could do the exchange and then come back a week later to return the rest of the stuff. Nothing about what either of these people said made sense. 1. That unboxed items can't be returned because they don't have the barcode to scan. 2. That two return/exchange transactions can't be done in a row because the register will shut down/block it. 3. That CVS only refunds money up to $40 per day per person. And 4, that any money left over from an exchange has to be a store credit. The entire experience was awful and the customer shouldn't have to be inconvenienced and have to come back multiple times to do returns on different days. I think the cashiers and workers here need to get over whatever petty little hang ups they have when dealing with the pubic and

In a crowded pharmacy market, this store is the worst. Basically, go anyplace else even if the location is less convenient. The pharmacists/pharmacy assistants refuse to process coupons for expensive prescriptions. They say it is denied by either the insurance company or the drug company. If you take it somewhere else, they process it without a problem. I'm talking about a price difference of $300 at CVS and $5 at another pharmacy. I changed my prescriptions to Costco and will never go back. My husband still has several prescriptions at CVS and every time I go to pick up the refills, they either fail to give me the correct number of prescriptions or charge me the wrong price. When I point this out, I never get an apology even if I have to make an additional trip. STAY AWAY!!!!
