I have lived in Huntington for more than 30 years and loved Book Review. I was very disappointed when it closed, but to be honest, The Next Chapter is even better. It has a cozy, laid back feeling to it, the staff is wonderful, and you can wander around for hours finding all sorts of cool things (not just books!). One of Huntington's many treasures.

I was very fond of the predecessor Book Revue where I spent quite a bit of time shopping in back in the day. Was very sad when it went out of business and when some of the former employees started this place I assumed it would be a pale shadow of the old place. Finally I had a chance to visit and was amazed by how large it is on the inside ( the appearance is deceiving) and what a great collection of books and vinyl it holds

Spent over an hour digging through drawers in the back room. So cool. Amazing selection of books, lots of weird treasure hunting to be had.

This is a lovely bookstore to visit. It's the kind where you could spend the whole day. There is comfortable seating in several places. It is a comfortable place to be. The book offerings cover many subjects, just like its previous incarnation.

I called a few days ago to see if they had a book that I wanted and the woman who answered the phone was so kind and checked for me, only to see that they didn’t. No worries, I figured that was that. But then she offered to order it for me completely free of charge, which in this day and age is definitely not the norm and was so appreciated. They called again yesterday to let me know the book had come in and they would hold it for me for a week. I just picked it up and can’t wait to start reading it. I am so happy that this bookstore is so close to where I live and they are not only well-stocked but are so kind and accommodating. This wasn’t my first purchase there and it certainly will not be my last. Thank you, The Next Chapter!! You guys are a local treasure for real.

You can lose yourself in this great book store. Treasure hunting for THAT special book, or sitting in one of the many quiet spots just taking it in. What a find, wonderful. The staff were pleasant and friendly.

I have loved this store since it opened! The weekend market days, and book signing events, along with the wide selection of new and used books makes this the best bookstore on Long Island! I recently had my bridal shower in their event room and everything was perfect! The staff is so kind, and the owner Mallory is determined for everyone to enjoy themselves to the fullest. I can’t recommend this store enough
