The Paramount is a premier live entertainment club venue located in Huntington, Long Island, New York. Since opening, it has established itself as a great local venue and a great asset for the area, hosting over 200 concerts, comedy, boxing, and special events per year. It is a neat place for a concert, described as professional and comfortable, where artists feel more real in the smaller, intimate setting. Many reviewers love the place, noting fantastic security and bands, a fun crowd, and a great environment. It hosts some pretty big names and is recommended for smaller audience shows. However, some negative points include rude bar staff on occasion. The primary criticism concerns the acoustics, which are frequently described as pretty bad and honestly damaging, causing ears to ring. While the audio tech for some events does an amazing job, concert earplugs are recommended for attendees. Despite this, it remains a top and popular venue for live entertainment.
Uncomfortable seats. Need more padding. Setup of the place was good. Bar in lobby and one on each side of the floor audience. Upper deck had tables, and I assume waitress service. Photos are from Josh Johnson show.
