“I've been a long time customer of Knaus. It's a wonderful neighborhood wine bar. Generous pours, excellent, friendly service & art surrounds you as you relax. Go here for a quick dinner of a very tasty sandwich, salad or flat bread. Sarah is simply amazing what she can do with such a small kitchen & prep area. I've met the most amazing people because Sarah is such a great small business owner. She brings people together& is a big supporter of local artists. Highly recommend.”
“I just recently made an appointment in the Thomas Barrett archives to research the little known early 20th century art colony, Elverhoj, in Milton-on-Hudson. Thomas Barrett exhibited his work in their Poughkeepsie gallery while still a very young artist. The staff of the Barrett Art Center, including their archivist could not have been more helpful and I plan to return there to do more research. This archives is an extremely important resource for the arts community and in particular for understanding the career of Thomas Barrett - he kept everything!”

“A small (free) gallery with an interesting collection covering ancient to current time.An interesting ongoing work encourages you to add your own input.There's also currently a fun installation consisting of a pile of candy that you're encouraged to sample. Yum!If you're in the area, it's well worth a look. The grounds and Chapel are another reason to go.Free 2 hour parking for visitors.”
