Beautiful artwork always changing, open mics on every third Thursday I believe it is with a very supportive crowd many great musicians people who probably could be somebody somewhere someday but maybe have other jobs and lives that keep them doing what they do during the day and then they show their wares at night on a level that many musicians would like to aspire to

I attended my first ever paint event tonight, and I was lucky enough to have it be at Artists' Collective of Hyde Park. Ilga and Liz created a fun and calm learning environment, as we embarked on our journey of painting an owl! All the materials you need, lots of great artists (experienced and new) for ideas and suggestions and some very nice refreshments. I was pleasantly surprised by my finished piece, and cannot wait to attend another event to learn even more and continue to improve. Thank you ladies - it was a blast

I love the painting classes. The teachers are wonderful and you get to meet other people. Will be going there again soon. I find it reasonably priced and they give you all the supplies you need and get to bring home the finished product.

What an amazing gallery and what an amazing group of local artists. I've been to several openings and events here and I can't express how warm and inviting the artists are. They're always ready to answer any questions you may have about any of the pieces on exhibit. Most of the work is available for purchase and there's so many mediums to choose from: sculpture, paintings, photography, etc. What makes the collective special is that you're viewing art from LOCAL artists and all of them are truly down to earth. You can see the love and passion they have for visual arts in their collective of original works. Keep in mind that they have many events throughout the year and open themselves to the community frequently. You don't have to be a "member" to witness the pure talent here. There's no stone-cold snobbish entities within these walls. These artists are personable, full of joy and zest. You want to be around them. You want to witness their processes. Hyde Park is known for the obvious: The Culinary Institute, The Drive-In & FDR (of course). That has changed. The Collective is here.
