They never delivered. When we called they said they got behind because “things happen” and would deliver the next day.The next day still no delivery. According to them they were still behind because “things happen”.Not even a good excuse and couldn’t even follow up on the second attempt.Don’t spend money here because the flowers won’t ever show up.

ONCE AGAIN ON 2/22/23, this florist has delivered a $78.001-800 Flowers bouquet with 7 flowers!!! 3 of the flowers were carnations!!!! The bulk was baby's breath. I was part of a group that contributed to acknowledge a personal loss that absolutely warranted flowers be delivered. The recipient kindly sent images to thank us all and the florist name was included. I honestly gasped at the poor quality. I COULD NOT BELIEVE IT WAS THIS FLORIST AGAIN. This florist KNEW the occasion and still provided nothing like the product advertised by the online company. A disgrace. What a shame to provide such blatantly horrible products and collect money for a product so consistently inferior over so long a time period.DO NOT ORDER from this florist and be very careful if you order from 1-800 flowers or shari's berries and they give your order to this florist. I spent $80 for EACH bouquet pictured. They were supposed to be large and extra large versions of the product respectively. There were nine flowers in the white bouquet and both bouquet's had more green than anything. When I called to speak to the florist, I was in tears, she kept asking me what she should do about it, we had a very long conversation in which she admitted she believes the pictures on line are just "suggestions" and she uses what she has, she told me she deducted 15.99 for the cost of a vase in each bouquet, she claimed the people at 1-800 flowers are not educated and went on to correct herself by saying not educated about flowers, when they call to speak to her, she said they can't even pronounce the names of flowers because they are in India. She constantly repeated that this is 1-800 flowers problem and I should get a remedy from them. She just kept saying, "what would you like me to do about it?, I could come and get the flowers", so I said then I would have paid $160 for nothing. She said, then I should ask for a refund from 1-800 flowers. So I called 1-800 flowers. I got a very nice, patient person from customer service for shari's berries/1-800 flowers on the phone, while speaking simultaneously with the florist and the customer service rep, they said they could give me a discount for my next order. I told the florist that and she kept saying "see, they took care of it." But that would mean, I would have to do business with this florist again. This did not seem like an appropriate remedy. I finally suggested that she send another set of flowers, she said she couldn't do that and again tried to say that this is 1-800 flowers fault for basically advertising something that can't be created, so I said, she should not be part of that system because she takes advantage of online orders but then gives the customer what SHE wants. Bottom line, the flowers pictured are NOT worth the $160 I paid. I posted one example of a picture of what I ordered from 1-800 flowers and what was sent to my house. In these tough times, business should go the extra mile when they are WRONG, not dig their heels in, blame the internet, talk in circles, disparage other people or make excuses. When I told the owner that I wanted to use her quotes in my review she said go ahead, but that I was vindictive. I explained that I would let her own words do the talking for her and her business.

HORRIBLE EXPIERANCE !!!!!! Now after reading all these reviews I'm glad I walked out , nobody knows how to make a bouquet of Florers ???? Waited almost 15 min n one after another th÷ would come out she will be right with you n then turn to back room n mouth somthing to owner an throw there hands up in air !!! Will not be Back AND WILL STICK WITH THE LOCAL FLOWER MARKET IN REDHOOK ! !!

Ordered an arrangement online out of state to be delivered to my sister consisting of roses, lilies, daisies and carnations. I received a phone call from the owner stating they'd be delivered (late at night). The arrangement did not have lilies, so I contacted the florist wanting them to fix it. She insisted there were lilies but they hadn't opened yet, then stated the employee there decided not to use them cause they were too tight, and I was told to send pictures proving there were none in the arrangement. After sending pictures, I was not even acknowledged until I called the next day to ensure the order would be corrected. After poor excuses from management, she stated they would replace the arrangement. Tonight, my sister received a phone call stating there was an issue with the arrangement and that she would need to give the first arrangement back. That phone call should have been to ME, the person who purchased the flowers. Apparently this florist has a hard time making an arrangement based off of a picture. Not to mention, the first arrangement, only a few days old is already dying before even opening but I'm sure they'll be glad to receive more dead flowers to out in someone else's arrangement.The lack of respect for customers from management, the poor quality of the flowers, and the poor excuses to not make things right have made me decide to NEVER do business with this florist again, neither will my family or other friends.

Not a good experience at all. According to the website you can have the arrangements delivered by a certain time. But according to them that’s false. I picked up my own flowers after waiting around for them to never show , I was told the money would be returned. It never was!

It has been a while since I purchased anything here, but I have received items. Most recently, I received a very nice arrangement from a local business I patronize. I'm glad that they called me in advance to check if I was home, because I was not. I was able to immediately schedule a new date for delivery. I was told arrangements are assembled the day of delivery, and that they would again call in advance of the delivery. When that day came, I heard nothing. I eventually called them about 90 minutes before closing, and I was told they did not receive their daily shipment of flowers from their distributor. That is, unfortunately, understanding given the current delivery situation around the country. Perhaps they were waiting until the last minute that day to call me, just in case. In any event, they assured me the arrangement would arrive the next day. And it did, and they called me in advance. Fifteen minutes later, a gentleman was at my door and safely handed my delivery to me. The arrangement was quite nice and very fragrant, with a sturdy vase I can reuse. Over the next couple of days, the fragrances have diminished, but it actually looks even nicer as more of the lilies opened. Since I have not priced flowers lately, I do not know how competitive their prices are. But I was certainly satisfied with my arrangement, once it was finally delivered.

My husband has been sending me flowers from here for many years. With every arrangement I get, the flowers are more and more beautiful each time. There is always a special butterfly clipped on, which I have collected over the years. They really know what I like, and the arrangements are so unique with fresh flowers that last long after the occasion. In these trying times, this florist continues to do their very best despite all the challenges I'm sure they facThey will not disappoint you!!!!

Ordered a boutonniere for my daughter’s prom. Scheduled it for 2 pm pick up because we had appointments before and after. Got there at 2 and told me I have to come back at 3:15. Had no idea what I had ordered kept asking what I had ordered asked for a rose with baby breath to match her corsage and didn’t end up with the baby breath. Just a rose with green fern behind it.

DO NOT ORDER FLOWERS from this florist!!!!!I ordered a basket of flower about a week before from Mother’s day. It was supposed to be delivered on May 8th, but it never arrived. So I called them. They said the delivery was delayed, but they guarantee to deliver it the next day. So I waited. But it was never delivered on the next day either. So I called them again. They said it’s not their fault and they can cancel the order or deliver it by Tuesday. Their attitude was “oh, it’s just a nationwide flower shortage, unfortunately.” They were not really sorry about the delay. They should have told me this can happen when I called them.My family was waiting for that flower to surprise mom and to hold an event for her. So we intentionally order a flower before Mother’s day, but they totally ruined our event!!! I had to tell my mom that I ordered a flower for you but I don’t have it now. Now, it’s Tuesday, but I haven’t received the flower nor the call from this florist. I can understand the situation because everybody makes a mistake. But they never call me about this situation, they don’t sincerely apologize. I try to support the local florist, but I’m extremely disappointed and upset. It was the worst Mother’s Day experience.

Very disappointing. I will never use this florist again. I ordered flowers and they were supposed to be delivered in Poughkeepsie before Mother's Day. They called me and told me their online prices were incorrect. I chose another arrangement and called them that evening--3 days before Mother's Day. They then responded that they would be delivered before Mother's Day. They never were delivered. I spoke to the florist and she responded it's Mother's Day and they are busy. If you are having flowers delivered in Poughkeepsie, order flowers from a reputable Poughkeepsie florist. Hyde Park Florist does not care and never even notified me. Very sad and upsetting.

I placed an order for Mother's Day flowers on Monday and was told it'd be delivered by Saturday. When I called on Saturday to check the status, I was told these would be delivered either that night or Sunday. 5pm on Sunday rolled around and nothing arrived, so I called again to check in and was told by them that they haven't had flowers for days so my order won't be going out. They got defensive, said it isn't their fault, and that they were calling people to tell them. This is ridiculous. I called them 2x to get answers, was told on two different occasions everything was fine. When I asked if they could apply a discount to my order because of the mishap, they got defensive and said it isn't their fault so there's not going to be any discounts. This place needs to take accountability and not simply "blame their wholesalers" as an excuse. Your local business. Treat your local community with honesty and respect. Shame on you!

Hyde Park Florist & Gifts are the best florist in the area. I've just recently started using this florist I've ordered 3 times so far and the flowers are completely beautiful.Kathy and the staff are amazing and very reasonable prices.Fast and friendly delivery service next day. This is my new to go to florist. I highly recommend.
