“I had what would have been for me a massive print job that had to get done TODAY. That job would have taken me several hours to print, collate, staple, stuff and mail. The Shipping Place printed, collated and stapled the whole thing in about 20 minutes (max). They then helped me stuff my prepaid envelopes and let me put those envelopes in their mail pickup system.Excellent, excellent service, Ted! Thank you!!”

“I was afraid by the low ratings before I got here, but this place was much better than I thought. I sent 4 packages here today, and the staff was kind and fast. I was able to send my package in within 15 minutes, even though the line was quite long.”

“It was like a ghost town. I went to return a purchase I made through Amazon and did a little browsing. John at the cash register was very helpful and friendly. A few good sales made the trip worthwhile. I encourage people to shop in person locally as much as they can, even at the big name stores because local people need the work also.”

“I have lived in many towns in this area and the Pleasant Valley post office is by far my favorite. They’re always so friendly and they do their job to the best of their abilities. I have to go in daily so it’s nice that they make things easy and do it with a smile. Even in the face of rude, unreasonable customers.”

“In my opinion, this Post Office has excellent service. “I love my post office, primarily because of Mary and her senior citizen doggie, Bailey. Last year, I had a nightmare of an experience at the Pleasant Valley P.O. The person did not give me tracking info for the right package. Bottom line, I lost $100. and had NO MERCHANDISE because of this error. I called Mary in CC and she explained in great detail what had happened, which I SO appreciated. I love Mary, because she take time with each person and LISTENS, which is still a lost art. Thank you for the chance to comment on a person who is just SO appreciated by many of us!”

“The personnel at this post office are always friendly and helpful and efficient; it's a pleasure to visit here. Just writing to ask if the closed lunch hours could be included on Google, that way we know when not to come! And enjoy your lunch :-)”

“I ship twice a week. Anna is very friendly and personable. I drive past the Market street location just because of how friendly the staff is at the one on route 9.”

“Not sure why all the negative reviews; I've generally had a pleasant experience here and have found the staff overall to be kind and helpful. If you're not happy with the USPS in general, that's one thing. But the people who work here have made this feel like a small town post office and it's been nice to see many of the same staff members through the ups and downs of the past 6 years or so. Always happy to take care of business at my local post office!”

“Milton's post office is a remnant from a past world. It's 'Post mistress's knows all it's patrons and has you packages that are too large to fit into your PO box on the counter before you ask. It is a reminder that there were once places that didn:t exist to process customers like they were a machine.”

“I've used Arnoff four times over the last 10 years to move my possessions from New York to Florida, Florida to New York, New York to New Jersey and then back to New York. This is a family owned and operated business that moves everything from personal possessions to the most sensitive and highest technology equipment. I also used them for storage when I ordered new furniture, but my place wasn't ready. They do a great job; I highly recommend them.”

“This is a real true hometown Post Office. There is a free book exchange in the entry where one can drop books or get them. The old architecture inside is amazing, and the most charming part, besides the postmaster, is the wall where children's heights are measured across time. What a sweet small heartwarming place. Thank you”
