The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because I have been to nicer laundromats that were newer and had a larger budget.I'm realizing the more I travel, the more that it is a luxury to find such places!This place is 5 stars for the region it's in, and for the hard work the attendants put into the place! We went to a couple other laundromats in a 25 mile radius and wow - were we regretful!We're sticking with the Colonial laundromat in Ilion as long as we're in this region.They have multiple washers to choose from, which is so convenient:$2.50$5.50And$7.50There's two sets of dryers, the bigger ones don't give you as much time per quarter, so I suggest the smaller ones if it fits your load.I typically check the machines before using them, sometimes there's animal hair, or even a really strong soap scent that doesn't jive with my senses. In all honesty I'm mostly checking to avoid the animal hair, or pungent smells. This is unavoidable with any laundromat you use.Overall, the attendants are constantly working hard to keep the place clean and ready for their next patrons.The wet floor signs are ancient, and most of the place is aged -- the floors could probably use a good industrial level cleaning - the whole place probably could, but this is the responsibility of the owners, not the workers that run that place 24/7. They're always kind, courteous, and helpful!We appreciate this laundromat, as all the others in the region are basically atrocious compared to this one.

Wow! I visited this laundry mat a couple weeks ago….it was the first tyme I have ever used this particular one….My first impression was how new the machines were and how neat and clean the entire bldg was. They had many different size capacities machines! There were two attendants there this particular day and they both were very attentive to anyones needs…opened a door for one older woman and helped me locate the change machine and (immediately) cleaned up a water mess my clothing ? had made on the floor for me!!! ….happily and without any complaint! I was very impressed with this entire operation! I strongly recommend this laundrymat to ANYONE !!!Many thanks to the woman (employee) who helped me with my water mishap!!! I only wish I’d got her name…

This laundry mat is always clean! Bathroom is always clean. ? Very well maintained. ?️ I wouldn't go anywhere else....and there's always good music playing ?? (update) This place is always clean when the ladies are on. There is a gentleman that works at night and does not clean the machines, the floors, or keep up with putting carts away. He sits in the office with light off playing video games or busy talking to his peeps that come see him. The machines in the meantime all have old soap spilled on them and in them. The difference in the cleanliness between shifts can clearly be seen! If I was the owner there I'd be telling someone byebye!

This place! i used to love going here literally every 2 to 3 weeks spending 100 or more each time. I forgot 1 45lb loader and called was told it was there to call that night i called no one answered this was last week at the ilion laundry matt call syracuse office no answer or i leave a message and no one calls me back i just dont get theres cameras everywhere ....where are my clothes? My children's clothes? Theres always someone there working how are they missing? I need answers if not ill have to involve the police its theft anyway you look at it.

Ive yet to have any issues doing laundry here. They keep the place clean and running smooth. Definitely take advantage of the pinball machine

This is the cleanest laundromat I've ever been to! The staff are always friendly and cleaning the machines. I left a load of blankets in a dryer and didn't realize it for 2 days. I assumed they were gone for sure, especially because they were new. When I called the staff they told me they found them, and they weren't quite dry so they restarted the dryer and fixed them kept in the office hoping I'd come back. Amazing!! My service dog always comes with me and she is so welcomed and adored. Great selection of washer sizes. I hate laundromats but I actually don't mind going there. It's always staffed and clean.
