the wait for the Rx was over 30 minutes on line. There was only one clerk. Management should have sent another person to serve the people on line. Everyone was working very hard but the wait was horrible. I am going to find another pharmacy rather than waste so much time to pick up a Rx

This CVS location is usually my go to. I’ve picked up my prescriptions from other CVS’s and figure I would go to one closer to home… NEVER AGAIN! The pharmacy is understaffed and the three employees that work there have no sense of care or urgency. I initially stopped in around 3:45pm and was #8 on the line of 10 people. I decided to wait in line, 20 minutes into my wait an elderly woman started repeatedly coughing. In today’s times, a line that long to pick up prescriptions is unacceptable. Not only do I not want to get sick but my immune system is weak, I can’t afford to get sick. I decided to leave the line and try again a little later in the evening hoping that the line would not be long. I returned around 8 pm and was #2 in a line of 2 people with a third person sitting on the side waiting for a prescription. After the person in front of me was done, the cashier told me to hold on a minute so she could check out the woman that was waiting on the side. I had not problem with this, I told her go ahead. When it was my turn she looked up the prescription I wanted to pick up for my daughter (that was sent over since 12pm) and told me to go over to drop off they would be able to help me there (she did not explain why nor state that there was an issue). I walked over to drop off and was ignored for another 15 minutes. I patiently waited to see how long it would take for someone to assist me. A female that was sitting behind the cashier when she told me to go to drop off eventually walked over and asked if I had a question. I said no (I’m giving her the benefit of doubt, maybe she didn’t hear the cashier) the cashier told me to come over here, I’m looking to pick up a prescription. She began to look the prescription up in the system and said that the prescription was not filled and it was on hold(??). I asked what usually happens for a prescriptions to be put on hold and if they reach out to the patient or the doctor to let them know that the prescription is on hold. She replied saying that the computer sometimes automatically puts prescriptions on hold and there really is no rhyme or reason, and they do not alert anyone if the prescription is on hold. This annoyed me because there was no logic behind what she said. She then said that the prescription was put on hold because she needed the Medicaid #. My annoyance grew even more because this is not my first time picking up a prescription so the information should definitely be on file and I didn’t walk in with my wallet because I’ve picked up prescriptions before and didn’t need any info. Annoyed I told her that I’d be back the next day to pick up the prescription (the store was about to close and I just didn’t have anymore patience to deal with this situation). I had my husband go to pick up the prescription because I didn’t want to deal with this particular pharmacy again. Needless to say, I will not be using this particular pharmacy again, I’ve gone to other CVS’s and have never had any issues. My suggestion is that they hire more staff, there are three cash registers back there leaving room for more staff, especially during cold and flue season.

Please please be careful when going to this CVS, as they appear not to care about the people coming to them for medication. I had an inhaler that was not ready the night prior to me coming in person to get it, and then when I came in, I told them I'm struggling to breathe and need the inhaler asap. They told me I had a thirty minute wait because they just got back from lunch despite them telling it would be ready today. Also the demeanor of the lady who "assisted" me was atrocious. If you need your meds or anything, do not depend on them to be ready or prepared to help.

CVS pharmacies gone real bad during and after the covid19 pandemic. I used their services for the last 15+ years with mixed feelings -but nevertheless acceptable, but it's no longer acceptable! Nothing seems to go right.. long waits, confusions during refilling prescriptions and most, MOST importantly the disrespectful customer service at the counter! I will not set my foot in this inwood CVS (due to my experience at the the pharmacy) ever! Thankfully, I've found a very satisfactory online pharmacy to fill up my recurring prescriptions and I can find any non-pharmacy products that they sell, elsewhere!

I thought the other Cvs Pharmacy in Far Rockaway was bad. I was wrong. These people need to be taken into accountability and held in court. I was in the ER the night before and I come the next day to pick my medicine and they tell me it's not ready yet... I didn't even come right when they opened, this was mid afternoon peoplSomeone needs to say something. ASAP, this is dangerous and we can't just let it slide. If people are rating you badly, then there's something wrong and there shouldn't be any passes when it comes to medicine and our health. OUR HEALTH MATTERS.

Horrible pharmacy, no matter how many days in advance your prescription is filled you will have to wait an average of 25-30 minutes to be helped at the pharmacy. 8 employees behind the counter and service is horrible. Definitely pick a different pharmacy.

They text you when your prescription is ready or when you are eligible for a refill. However, you cannot use drive through if you want to use coupons and discounts ... Not sure why...

The pharmacists are generally sweet and always helpful, lately I dont know who is managing this store during this COVID19 crisis but you need to step your game up. I waited for 40 minutes for my scripts why you ask? Schedule says you open at 9 a.m. on Sunday. I was at the drive thru waiting at 8:50 a.m. cars piling up behind me people honking why isnt the line moving, its 9:15 a.m. drive thru still not open. I push the yellow call button she says Oh Btw TODAY WERE OPENING AT 930 A.M. EXCUSE ME. I waited for 40 minutes till the pharmacist opened up and guess what? My script wasnt even filled can you believe that? . She told me to come back in 15 minutes. Oh hell no I'm going to stay right here and wait for my script that was filled 2 days ago and should have been ready.. Who is managing this pharmacy it's like OH THEIRS RULES WHAT RULES.GRRRR .. they used to be the best what happen?

This place is the worst when it comes to prescriptions. Staff acts like deer caught in headlights when you ask about a prescription. At the counter they look at you blankly when you give them your name. and DOB. Prescriptions are never ready on time , even when you call ahead of time. This will be my last visit here. The only place worse is the CVS on Beach 20th. St. I am so done with CVS .

I came her not too long ago with my dog on a leash in my arms. I was approached by a tall African American man that works here in this location, he told me that I could not have my dog here. Respectfully I get that, HOWEVER TODAY I walked in and a woman walked in with her dog on a leash like this was Petco. Absolutely upset, I stood there as he watched her the same man that told me to never bring my dog here let her walk her dog all over the place. Furthermore I saw no service dog on her dogs leash. If you are going to tell one person something then make sure it goes for all. We are all shoppers here.
