I ordered 2 18 inches subwoofer they sent the wrong ones got in touch with them and shipped them back to them that was before new year got an email from them that they received the product just got off the phone with them telling that was a default email they sent they only received one and the other one still in transit and in my opinion these people are big scam I urge everyone not to buy from them anymore or you will get scam like I didI’m also contacting BBB about them I’m calling my bank and going to dispute all the chargesThink two or three times before you decide to order from them.

Received a defective rockwedge light and contacted the company immediately. Took a rep over 4 days to contact me via email, another 2 days to send me a rma # email. So I asked why can’t they ship the light out while I ship back the defective light so I’ll have it for my event. They said no I have to ship it first. Okay why can’t I bring it directly to Rockville in Long Island about 40 mins from my home and they told me no. Waiting to get a full refund and happy to say goodbye forever Rockville‼️

I bought a couple of Speaker stands that I enjoyed using with a couple of JBL monitors, which I bought elsewhere.I wanted to buy a couple more stands and saw they were being bundled with JBL speakers, isolation pads, and cables.Perfect!I submitted my order, received a confirmation, and waited! After 4 days and not receiving a tracking number, I sent an email. A couple days later, I get an email, “Your payment didn’t go thru our Payment Security System , your order was cancelled, have a nice day!”Seriously? My payment was pending from my bank, which means it was never processed. Why? I was never notified. Why? No proposed resolution or alternative? ”Have a nice day?” That’s just mean and now I’m mad…Let me ask!Another email and another day the response I received was, “I’m sorry. It’s not our intention to cause any issues with orders, however this is beyond our control.”What? Did the Order Desk just say Orders were beyond their control?Now I’m in my car. It’s about a 60 mile, 2-hour drive (freakin’ traffic), I arrive at 600 Bayview Ave, Inwood, NY. It is a multi-business location. There is nothing on the directory that says Rockville Audio. It is just a big warehouse. It didn’t look as though there was any manufacturing going on…I suspect Rockville Audio is just the name of the American Distribution company distributing products that are actually manufactured in China.This is not unlike the dozen or so Japanese “Manufacturers” in the 70s and 80s with offices all over the world, distributing products only manufactured in Japan. Only now, it’s cheaper to do it in China.Whatever, there is no excuse for non-existent customer service, especially if you are a company doing business exclusively on line and via 3rd party retailers. I also suspect this is why ordering direct is a crapshoot. They’d rather you go thru a retailer and the retailer’s customer service department.Their stuff is inexpensive, which is really their number one asset. Probably because they use 3rd party people and software to take orders and answer Customer Service calls…I mean who really offers 24 Hr Service Hours anymore???If there was anything truthful I got from the response I received was, “This is beyond our control,” not the rest of what you read on their web site:“Welcome to Rockville. We are very proud to bring you what we consider to be the absolute best value. Our company is the culmination of years of development involving a team of dreamers, engineers, and designers. Proudly conceived and developed in the USA, Rockville manufactures high-end gear for professional audio, car stereo, marine audio, and home theater. We spared no expense in manufacturing the highest quality products.”

I wish I could give zero Stars. Purchase a product that turned out to be defective but was still within warranty and the company is refusing to replace my product or parts. The customer service is non-existent and nobody in their supervising department will call you back. Do not waste your time ordering through this company. They are the absolute worst!!!!

Needed an item within a week, so i called to ask some questions about shipping to see if my timeframe was feasible, they're only 1 state away from me. everything sounded good from the phone rep. Site claims ships within 1 business day. did chat to check on the order the next morning (a few hours still technically before a full 24 hours). and rep says its actually 1-2 days. i push back and then she says the cutoff is 1pm. my order was at 12:27pm... problem? oh they didn't actually get the payment till 3pm. i paid with a normal credit card, nothing on the site for the order about a payment delay, no issue or delay from my bank, just attitude from a rep which led to me cancelling the order, even if it might have shipped within the next few hours. Goodbye forever.

I bought an Array speaker system for my band. One sub woofer burnt out. FORGET about getting through to ANYONE WHO works there. BE ADVISED DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!! My purchase should be covered under a warranty but , if y’all can’t talk with anyone, you are not getting covered. Most everyone who bought from this company has ZERO good to say about it!!!!

There lots of rumors Rockville is going out of business. I wouldn’t take the chance of buying Rockville products anymore. They have a high return volume. Lots of they get returnedRockville is the only company you are not allowed to speak to a manager and that’s a good indicator th companies is about to go out of business

(((( STAY AWAY))) I tried to buy some product on here and the people that run this place are a joke.... horrible horrible customer service. I wanted some help choosing the right equipment from them and boy talk about bad service. hanging up on me. not knowing how to recommend a product. nobody calls back or answers hardly ever. Then I came to write this review and wow! saw all the super bad review! thank god I didn't buy from them. I hope they go out of business for being scam artist and rats!

Placing the order was seamless and user-friendly, and prices were fair. However, I received a confirmation email for my order, followed by 4 marketing emails before I had to reach out and ask if my order had shipped. Only upon inquiring did I find my order had been canceled and caused my event to need reconfiguring. There is no way to view an order status unless you have an account, which excludes everyone who orders as a guest. The one email I received that said I had an item in my cart was titled "Don't Miss Out On This Deal!" with emojis. There is no excuse for not having been notified that my order did not process and why. The customer should never have to contact the provider to discover such information.

Have been trying to get someone on the phone for a week to talk about a few products. Also called multiple times and was on hold from 15min to 30 min then there phone hangs up on you, they say they will call you back but never happened. Time to move on to a different company, there loss.

I was looking for a rechargeable powered PA system for an event we had to move to a location where there would be no access to power last minute due to weather. After calling Rockville Audio and speaking with a sales rep, who assured me our order would ship out the following day and arrive within 3 business days, we placed our order on Thursday. We received part of the order on Monday. On Wednesday I called their customer service to see what the status was on the two PA systems, they could not give me any information on the order and there was no one I could speak to about the problem. I was told they had a "system issue" last week and there were some "glitches" in orders placed and they were not able to pull up any information on our order. When I asked to speak to a manager or supervisor, I was told there was no one available to talk to. If you are looking for a reliable company to actually deliver your order, even if you are in a pinch, heed the advice of the MANY other reviews here and LOOK ELSEWHERE!

Trying to get any level of customer service from them is next to impossible. Even though you can frequently get through by either phone or online text support you may as well be talking to yourself. It’d probably be less frustrating. Specific questions or needs outside of just returning what you purchased seems to be ignored. I don’t know if it’s a lack of training or not wanting to do their job. As a result I was sent the wrong speakers and in the process of trying to return them and purchase new ones I now have a credit card charge, no product, and no resolution. Now they don’t answer emails and repeated requests for a manager to call me, even though I was promised a call, has gone unfulfilled. I’m so very disappointed, this is by far the worst customer service I’ve ever encountered! Buyer Beware!
