I've seen some reviews of Dollar General, both good and not so good. Yesterday I stopped at the Hudson_Titus store. There was a young woman there running around, stocking shelves, she was working hard. I told her what I was looking for and she helped me look for it, but no luck. She was very polite.
I was looking for a few things but they didn't have them, but as I walked around the store it seemed to be in good order. For the most part the shelves were stocked. Some were a little low, but I think it was just from busy shopping. There wasn't really a lot of clutter, stock or inventory laying around as I've seen in other stores similar to this. Cleanliness and organization means a lot to me and others, I'm sure.
One thing people should remember is this isn't like Dollar Tree where everything is a dollar, just a reminder.

I went into this Dollar General last night 3/18/23 and I was so pleasantly surprised! In the past when we’ve gone in there you can barely get down any of the isles because there is so much merchandise that needed to be put away, clearly they were shorthanded and the manager didn’t care. The gentleman who was the manager was usually either just hiding in the back or outside having a cigarette. Last night there was a woman there working racing around putting things away and straightening up the shelves. I knew this newly organized store was all thanks to her. The gentleman manager was still at the front checking people out but I hope that she is the new manager because she has clearly turned the store around! Thank you for working hard to make our shopping experience better!

There online site said they had two different items in stock that i wanted but when i went to the store both items were out of stock and wasted my time going there, going to shop elsewhere.

This Store located at 525 Titus Ave Rochester NY needs a complete Overhaul in Customer Service! On Multiple occasions in last 3 months the store is in Disarray!! The shelves are not stocked regularly and empty yet the aisles are cluttered with large bins full of merchandise!! I have gone back seeking an item but merchandise bins haven't been unloaded sometimes after three weeks and more unloaded bins are put into aisles making them unpassable and DANGEROUS to maneuver through!! Floors are dirty also I am so disappointed in the management and upkeep of this store. If there is no improvement to this store I will stop shopping at this store.
