After years of going to home Depot I recently learned about my local hardware store while doing some home renovations..when I walk in they greet me by name and give me very personal customer service. When I asked for a particular item the person helping me said why do you want to spend so much when you can't this item for a fraction of the price..I couldn't believe my ears I said wow sure thank you. You can get a barbecue, paint or tools don't waste time at home Depot when you can support the community.!

Today I broke a pole that my wife uses to hang her laundry to dry.There were about 6 things on it when I broke it.This was about 4:55 PM.I too the pieces and jumped into my car and drove there.The lights were on but the hours sign said closed at 5 PM.The time was 5:04 PM.I banged on the door and someone opened it.They told that they were closed.I told them about the pole.They get a pole for me and I paid for it.THE IRVINGTON HARDWARE store is GREAT.I have used them many times in the past and always was happy.This time I WAS VERY, VERY, VERY, VERY HAPPY.They are a great store.I recommend them totally.

Top notch service & staff. One of a few shining examples we have: we were hanging a new, custom lighting fixture & had an issue with the length/rods. Joe took 20m of his time to troubleshoot, alter (including painting) and solve the problem. For no charge & with a genial attitude. WOW. We've also had extremely pleasant experiences with Ellen & Ronny. Having moved to this town in late 2019, they made us feel welcome immediately. They also came highly recommended to us by several people, from our realtor to our neighbors. We hope they continue to do business in this town forever.
