I highly suggest you reconsider bringing any of your vehicles to this facility. After being a loyal customer for over 16 years—and even personally knowing the original owner who passed away—you’d think I’d be treated with at least a minimum level of respect or competence. Instead, I ended up with the worst experience I’ve ever had with any shop… and this is New York, so that says a lot.
My car was side-swiped, nothing major, and I brought it in for what should have been a simple cosmetic repair. Fast-forward four weeks, and when I finally get my car back, it’s practically unrecognizable. Somehow, in the process of fixing a minor exterior issue, they decided it was necessary to replace my battery, alternator, and even do an oil change. Ummmmh… suspicious doesn’t even begin to cover it.
But wait, it gets better.
As soon as I’m leaving the lot, I realize I can’t even put the car in park because the shifter is suddenly broken. Like… what?? How does that even happen during a body repair?
And the cherry on top:
My car went in with 175,xxx miles and came out with 189,xxx miles. In what universe is that normal?
When I brought this to the owner’s attention, he didn’t even deny it—which honestly made the whole situation feel even more concerning.
The before and after is night and day, and not in a good way. I have no idea what kind of shady business went on with my vehicle while it was in their possession, but I refuse to remove this review until I receive clear answers and reimbursement for the damages done to my car.

I can’t say enough good things about this place! Matt and his team are amazing. I’ve brought my car here a few times now, and every experience has been great. Matt is super knowledgeable, honest, and always takes the time to explain what’s going on. You can really tell he cares about his customers and takes pride in his work.
His sister, who also works there, is always so kind and welcoming — it’s such a nice family-run shop with a great atmosphere. Every time I get my car back, it’s running perfectly, and I always feel confident it was done right. It’s so rare to find people this trustworthy and dependable. I recommend them to everyone!

Poor communication about the work that suppose to be done. Leaving me unhappy with the results. Also $20 in a coin dispenser was stolen from my car while in their care. No restitution. Nina is in the office is quite efficient in doing her job. It’s the body work that didn’t meet my expectation.

I recently went to Puma to have some scratches buffed out of my car they were courteous, professional and they do great work
there are lots of body shops around but these guys stand out
honest reliable and trustworthy
they did some repairs on my old vehicle 8 years ago
and it was the same story back then
