This pharmacy has always been top-notch for me. I feel very lucky to have them. The pharmacy techs are professional, friendly, efficient, and well trained.From the first time I used this, Walmart pharmacy, many many years ago (probably about 11 years ago), I have been happy with their service and expertise. I have NO complaints.The pharmacists, themselves, are friendly, highly educated, and always take time to answer my questions. They really do care. Even when they are busy. I am grateful.

Every time I've been in contact with anyone from the Walmart Pharmacy in Islandia.....whether on phone or in person....they were also friendly , polite , helpful and professional.

Don't try to use in store pickup, they can't be bothered to get your order together. Store is dirty and not kept well. Avoid at all costs.

The walmart itself is nice and loaded with stuff. However the people at the pharmacy are very rude. I was there this morning to get three of my medicines and Kadian (the associate ) first told me one of them wasnt available and she has to order it. My meds were sent over two days ago but she didnt realized until I went to pick it up that she had to order the medicine. Then I was told to wait for 10 mins and after that I was given generic for the one they were supposed to order. When I went to pick it up, they only put generic in the bag and not the other two. I was given very hard time at this pharmacy. I would rate their customer service 1/10. Definitely dont recommend going there.

This walmart pharmacy located in Islandia Ny is just ridiculous and a joke, very unprofessional and rude! The company should be ashamed at the particular pharmacists in charge of this department! So after waiting 2 days for my busy doctor to send a new perscription to them because the first one somthing was missing or wrong and so they said he needed to send another one (which ive been dealing with this pharmacy about a year now) which took 2 days for him to do and after waiting all day for them to fill my perscription they recieve it and decide to tell me then(6:30pm) sorry we dont have your medication in stock and waiting for the order and wont be in until next week! (now let me mind you 2 weeks before that they only had half of my medication to fill so I went ahead and took what they had because at that point I was out of my medication for a day and I needed my meds because otherwise I would suffer a great deal of mental issues) so then the other half of my perscription was voided out and I had to go back to get new perscription 2 weeks later. Now they knew for 2 days what my medication was for and not 1 of them decided to make it aware to myself or my doctor that they didnt have "it in stock" I dont know what pharmacy takes 2 weeks to order which I believe is a very common medication and allow the fact that a person's state of mental health Is at risk! They knew for 2 days what my perscription was for and I'm a repeat customer and they knew what a complete headache it was to get a new perscription sent over instead of telling myself or my doctor we dont have that medication in maybe you can try another pharmacy . Like that's just evilness how a pharmacist would just allow that especially I called them atleast over 5 times to get an update on if it was sent over. my doctor could have just sent it somewhere else and I wouldnt be suffering right now for their lack of honesty and compassion.. So no excuses it's just straight up unprofessionalism and evilness to know how long the patient is waiting and I have no medication going on my 4th day now because it's the weekend and my drs is closed and my state of mind right now and the atmosphere in my household is very tensed because of their lack of communication on their inventory! Thanks alot clowns from walmart unprofessional pharmacy. Your a joke compared to others!! And the top pharmacists guy should be fired! Some of the girls that are there I can say are nice and try to help. But advice to the head company if you want repeat customers I would consider getting a pharmacist who is honest and is proud to represent your company!

pharmacists themselves are super helpful. The workers definitely have to correct orders and insurance and coupons often but the prices are so ridiculously lower than cvs, walgreens, etc that its a no brainer.

Welcome to GhettoMart, I should have stopped dealing with this place when a fight broke out in the store with cans being thrown in front of the aisles, but needed tires for my car and decided to order them online and have them installed there. After thanksgiving I jumped online to make an appointment for the installation and received an email that the tires where already picked up . Took me 6 calls in order to get the response of we have no clue who signed for the tires nor do we know where they are. REALLY!! Never will I spend my hard earn money at this place I'd rather drive 20 minutes out of my way to avoid this place. Close down this GhettoMart.

Yea that Caribbean lady need a serious attitude adjustment she is NASTY. They always screw up orders, never done on time. Claim they never received prescriptions when I have the print out showing it from the Dr, when they finally do it's never actually ready when you get to the pharmacy.

The hatian lady at pick up really needs to learn to talk to costumers with a friendlier tone she was very rude and gave me attitude the whole time for a mistakes they did.

Rita is very pleasant. Pharmacist Jordan is friendly and helpful. Pharmacist Rose Diguardio is unprofessional. It appears that whenever she has to do more than come out from behind her computer to help a customer or another staff member, she acts very bothered and annoyed.
