The United States Postal Service location provides very good and professional service. Postal workers are consistently described as polite, helpful, courteous, friendly, and patient. The staff is noted for being willing to investigate special situations, such as a delayed shipment requiring immediate attention. The service is considered the best some have found in the state. While one employee speaks little English, it is enough to be very helpful. Wait times are short, with hardly ever a line. The atmosphere is friendly and professional, with the team following regulations reliably. Customers appreciate the reliable and attentive care in handling and delivery.

Ive had a P O box at the Islip Terrace Post office since 2014, all very professional, helpful and friendly!! And I disagree with the review about the lady with red hair, she is very sweet and friendly, like all that work there!!

Patricia couldn’t have been nicer or more helpful. I can only image how hard it is dealing with nasty people all day who come to the post office without a pen or tape or necessary tools to accomplish their task. And then take it out on the lady’s who have to suffer through dealing with them!
