I'm tired of having to call and get a new card just because I simply need a refund, and then that refund can take months for me to receive. Or if my card was fraudulently used then they still let that person take the money, but if I try use my own card I can't! How can someone else use my card and get away with it, able to get whatever money etc., they want but when I try to use it, I have to go through some bs for an hour to finally complete what I wanted to do! And I'm still trying to get a refund for an order that I placed, all for me to go to some foreign phone number where no one speaks English, it's as bad as the ones with a robot, and then they have to ask me what bank it is! Like how don't you know what the bank is, you work for them don't you?? Isn't that really sketchy, almost like every other bank out there that scams you and steals your money! And then when they take money out of your account, that you don't have, they'll charge you almost $300! So you steal my money that I had saved, then try to get me to pay you more money for no reason!

I find chemung as a whole is kinda funny with their business practices and they usually aren't able to reason why things are they way they are. We actually had so many difficulties that we had to switch banks.

I do think the tellers are nice. What I’m in disagreement about it being $35 overdraft per item. I was charged $105 for an overdraft for 3 items in one day. Even though I deposited a check to cover the overdraft I was still charged.

I had a very long day today with multiple requests to get various documents notarized. Both Craig at the this brand and Sandra at the Elmira Road branch were incredibly professional, patient, and friendly. I am truly grateful.

Nobody here can take ownership of a problem, they’d rather have their clients bounced around until they either give up or figure things out for themselves. Better off with an account at literally any other financial institution in the area, save your time and thank me later.

The banking is fine despite having to wait 2 business days for a check to clear. My real gripe is about their terrible hours 9-4:30 m-f 9-12 on Saturday. And the drive through has the same hours. I can’t imagine they are getting much business during the week.
