I love this place. Got almost everything you need and if not, you can make it work. Nicest owner and staff. Great location.

Small gym with everything you need to get a great workout in. I love that it is 24 hours! Staff is super awesome.

I talked to Dan, the owner, and was given a informative and complete talk and guide to his gym.

This gym is a hidden gem. Great staff, super helpful and knowledgeable. Relaxed environment that supports everyone from young bodybuilders to geriatrics.

Good solid gym. Good and friendly staff. 24/7 access is excellent. Diverse. Not intimidating. They only need to add plants, and images/art on the walls -- they're only weakness.

I recommend this gym to anyone, it lacks some equipment but that challenges me to find different ways to work the muscles. If Arnold can do it, so can you.24 hours is the best! Awesome staff!

Very small facility. Minimal equipment. Only one pair of dumbbell per weight. Has more cardio equipment than strength equipment. It feels like it would get very cramped if there is more than 10 people training here. But if it's fairly empty it is good. But I would not pay their monthly fee for this.

Staff is friendly, facilities are clean and equipment is all in good order. The 24-hour access and central location make it very convenient.

I have had 3 weekly memberships. Staff is friendly. Access is tops. Facility is excellent. My only complaint is no free parking.

Pros: *Never crowded *Friendly staff *Filtered water at your convenience *24/7 access *If you make an appt they will show you how to use each machine the right way Cons: *Small gym so it doesn't have all the equipment I'm accustomed to using *It's $55/month now to have membership (a little more in the summer)

Finger Lakes Fitness Center is a small gym located on the Ithaca Commons, in the basement of Center Ithaca. It's in a convenient location for people living near the Commons, has a decent number of cardio and weight machines, and offers yoga and dance classes that are included in the price of membership. Student memberships are available for $178 a semester or $326 for two semesters. I think they are expanding the gym once Cinemapolis moves into its new space, but I'm not sure when that might happen. I like the relaxed environment and most of all the convenient location. I'm so glad I don't have to schlep up to campus or drive somewhere to go to the gym. I wish they were open later than 9:00 on weeknights and 6:00 on Saturdays and Sundays, but they do open wicked early in the morning.
