I absolutely love getting my hair done by Kaitlyn! I’ve gotten cuts from her, vivid colors, she’s even done my extensions and no one can style my hair like her. She is so detail oriented, has great vibes and I’m never disappointed when I walk out of the door! Sometimes she brings in her dog to keep us company and it’s the highlight of my day.

I got my hair bleached and colored with Kay, and I couldn't be happier with how it turned out! She was quicker than any other stylist I've gone to, was a joy to spend the time with talking about hair, music, etc, and most importantly, absolutely nailed the color I wanted. Can't recommend them enough.

I’ve lived in Ithaca for around 8 years and have been to a few salons in the area, and I always find myself coming back to Hare & Bristle. Danielle’s attention to detail and her eye for aesthetics are unreal! I know whenever I’m sitting in the chair at Hare & Bristle I’m in good hands and that Danielle is going to really listen to what I want and take her time making me feel like the best version of myself. It’s really clear that Danielle has high standards for her work and knows how to achieve them. I 100% recommend Hare & Bristle for anyone looking to get their hair done.

Stylist: Danielle is amazing! She’s just a genuine, wonderful person who is incredibly talented. Her technique is great. My hair just falls into place. The salon is very cozy and comfortable and totally matches Danielle’s vibe. I would definitely recommend getting your hair cut at Hare and Bristle.

I've been getting my hair cut by Danielle for about 2 years now and I feel as though I can never go to anyone else! She's really helped to guide my personal style. I have often gone in for cuts not knowing exactly what I want, and Danielle has talked through things with me, making sure I give some input, and also (at my request) making choices of her own to help me really cultivate a gorgeous style. I find her prices fair for the services she offers, and I really feel so excited to go spend an hour in her chair and chat while she gives me a glow up!

I have been going to Danielle at Hare and Bristle for years now. She takes such good care of her clients, and she truly is passionate about her craft. It's hard to find someone who "gets" your hair and spends the time to do it right (and how you want it!) and Danielle is that person for me! Her salon is small and cute, with eclectic vintagey decor.
