What a gem in Ithaca!! Not only is it perfectly located and gorgeous, but the owners are absolutely fantastic. We took the whole Inn for my daughter's wedding, set it up for the whole weekend and it couldn't have been more perfect!! Thank you for offering this dreamy place!

Hosts and owners, Madeline and Kenn, are wonderful role models and we feel very grateful to have met them. They have a wonderful work ethic which inspires others to do more too.
Inn On Columbia is a gorgeous property with beautiful finishes. Olive is a very lovable dog who brought a lot of love to our mornings on the patio.
We were fortunate to stay in the Gazebo which is really sweet and secluded. The marble tile in the spa bath was very cooling during the recent heat wave. The breakfast was cooked to a very high standard. I’m very inspired to add goat cheese to my scrambled eggs now. Unlikely mine will be as amazing though 😊
The hosts are very familiar with the neighborhood and Madeline had very helpful suggestions all of which we enjoyed. The Cornell Botanical Gardens are stunning. A truly wonderful experience. We really loved Ithaca ♥️

My wife and I had a wonderful time visiting Ithaca and staying at the Inn on Columbia. The hosts were extremely charming and helpful. The breakfast was amazing and cooked to order and the menu items changed very day. The location was easily walkable to the Commons, even with the typical Ithaca hills. We stayed in the Gazebo and my wife called it the best hotel room ever! Would highly recommend and we will surely be staying here again next time we visit Ithaca.

We had an exceptional two night stay at the Inn on Columbia. The location is perfect, a less than half mile walk or a short drive to The Commons but away from all the business noise once we were ready to settle down for the evening. Kenn, Madeline and their pets couldn't have been better hosts and we felt welcome from the moment we arrived. The Inn is wonderfully designed and common spaces are super relaxing. We were provided several options for breakfast, and Madeline prepared amazing meals for us each morning. We stayed in the Main Guest House and found the room very comfortable and spacious. You can stop looking for a place to say during your next visit to Ithaca, you've found the best spot in town!

The stay here made my trip. Very close to everything. She made vegan meals for my wife. I absolutely love everything about this place. Very close to every thing I could want. And Olive is the best concierge.

Perfect in every way! Marvelous! Don't hesitate to stay here!We stayed in the Carriage House for four days and it was wonderful! The breakfast was superb (thanks Madeline!), the mix of architectural elements was incredible (thanks Kenn!), and the hosts and their pets were lovely. It really and truly felt like being in someone's home. The staff was so nice, and if we lived on the east coast, this would definitely be our regular getaway pad! Everyone was warm and inviting, and very welcoming, but not intrusive. The Carriage House was so comfortable and was like having your own little modern cabin with all the trimmings in and around it. I'm just sorry we were so busy with wedding guest obligations that we didn't have a lot of time to just relax on the property. I can understand how Madeline and Kenn have so many repeat guests for they are excellent hosts and good, caring people! If we are back in the area again, this would - without any doubt - be our Number One choice for accommodations. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Just a super, small Inn/ B & B. Lovingly designed and maintained. Owner-Host Madeline is great, as are her fine breakfasts. The Inn's dog, Olive is a sweetheart too.

I just got home from a last-minute stay at the Inn and highly recommend it. We stayed in the gazebo, which was so cool. Madeline and Kenn are amazing hosts and the breakfasts were some of the best I’ve ever had.The location can’t be beat - it’s very walkable to lots of things and the neighborhood was pretty quiet (although the college students weren’t back yet!)If I’m ever in Ithaca again I’ll definitely stay here. Thanks for such a great stay!!Rooms: Stayed in the gazebo which is actually a converted gazebo. It’s a beautiful space, well-appointed, but if you’re bothered by morning light bear in mind that it’s windows all around. There are blackout curtains but light still comes in.Walkability: Super close to Ithaca Commons, with lots of dining, shopping, and a movie theatre.Food & drinks: The breakfast (included in the price per night) were truly the best meals I’ve had in a long time. Seriously, great choices, and fruit and fresh-baked scones and muffins to boot.Noteworthy details: The spaces we saw were so lovely and well- designed. Staying in a gazebo was unusual and fun.

I would recommend this chill, little hideaway in Ithaca, close to Cornell and downtown. We loved the peaceful environment and the kind service. The breakfast was ample and fresh. The owners are on-site and welcoming. We would come back. We stayed at the carriage house and it was lovely. My favorite thing was having coffee on the porch in the morning and enjoying the birds’ songs. We also fell in love with their sweet pup, Olive. She was so friendly and an unofficial mascot for the inn. She greeted us most of the time we pulled in after a hike or journey downtown. If you like nature and want to be able to walk downtown, I highly recommend the carriage house. It was so quiet and somehow so close to the downtown.*If you have mobility issues, I would recommend their other rooms. The carriage house has stairs and a big step to get in and out of the shower. But the carriage house offered so much privacy and peace, I would certainly ask for that room again. Thanks Madeline and Ken for the relaxing weekend.Nearby activities: So many beautiful hikes within 5-10 mins by car, 15-20 minutes you could walk to most restaurants and Cornell university.Walkability: We walked to the waterfall trails by Cornell and we walked to dinner downtown.

It's a good location, right near downtown. It is an old house so keep that in mind. We went in the middle of the summer and couldn't get our room cool enough (it has a window unit). The hosts were pleasant and they have a large, nice dog.
