Update! Finally have about half that has come up. Not going to hold my breath on rest of them.......I've been going to Agway since a child. They were always a helpful and trustworthy store. This year I purchased 2 bunches of asparagus, to replace a played out patch. To my surprise not a single one grew. When I asked for a refund or to replace them. I was told too bad. They don't do that. 20.00 is 20.00 I'm out. The 10 I purchased from the nursery to round out new bed, all grew. Disappointed in the store new policy.

They are helpful and have so many choices. They are a little pricey, but no one else had string of pearls succulents.

Found what we needed quickly. Bird seed and cat litter each had many good choices. The employees were very helpful. Nice place.

I have shopped this store since 1987 and my loyalty is now challenged. The reorganization feels capricious and the additional products piled high make me feel assaulted as they loom overhead. When employees, now men at desks, should be paying attention to customers looking for the far flung products in odd places, they are not. They can see people looking lost but ignore them and when asked for help they don't get off their butts to show people where things are. Pointing in vague directions is rude. The new guy -manager? -in the garden department is a true jerk and I will find other places to buy those products. He disagrees with the customer and makes claims about products he has likely never used and is altogether disagreeable. i have been gardening longer than he has been alive. Touting his horticultural degree is in very, very bad taste. Gone is the friendliness and easy to find items and gone will be long time loyal customers. True Value was fine and now you do all this to be part of ACE? I have no loyalty to ACE.

A few months ago I purchased an item and needed to return it for a refund, Brenda and Brandon who work at the Ithaca location in the lawn equipment department were fantastic and provided great customer service. I hope the owner sees this because these two represented Agway in a very positive manner. Thank you Brenda and Brandon for helping me through this process!
