Was wary about going to a dealership for service, and definitely won't be going back. Was charged for double the amount of labor (which at $190/hr seems pricey), and they didn't believe my wife when she told them. Had to call and come back in person before they double checked. Not even sure they refunded it properly.Also, if you ask for them to be done by a certain time, they won't be. That's just the time they'll call you to tell you when they'll actually work on it. And they will try to charge you for things you didn't ask for. I only caught this by asking for an itemized list.Only reason they get two stars is because the shuttle service is nice and Jeff is very friendly.

I recently bought a Subaru Forester from Alex at Maguire Ithaca. I never thought I would use the words "great experience" and "car buying" in the same sentence, but my car buying experience was truly great! Alex was helpful, patient, straightforward, and responsive. And a very kind person. I was fully prepared to have to haggle over the trade-in but I got the amount that I wanted, without any haggling. I fully recommend this dealership and Alex in particular!

Very inefficient sales people. Never respond for voicemail and when reached they are as cold as ice, even to reply for a question. I was planning to buy from them but now cancelled

Well, based on my own recent experience I am not surprised to see all the negative reviews of the Maguire Subaru service department. And, pretty much, I have the same complaint. They were not communicative regarding how long the service would take and the service rep was dishonest and dismissive when I asked why my car was taking so long to complete a routine maintenance that I had scheduled in advance. This business showed no respect for my time, my questions, my giving them business or really even my car. Their behavior betrayed the fact that they actually have no interest in my car's "health" over the long run.I further am not surprised that they have not claimed their business on Yelp. I suspect they know they give terrible service. Of course, I won't ever be giving them another dollar nor another minute of my time.

Came here for getting my first service last month for a simple oil change, tire rotation and some minor fender bender fixes - and while was initially put off by some miscommunication on my vehicles parts (I was called in and told everything was there and the right parts weren’t which was inconvenient for me), Bobby put all that to bed and kept in clear and constant communication with me in terms of when the parts would arrive. He also offered to pick up / drop my vehicle off during a regular work day which was of great help. Bobby exemplifies what customer service is all about and has gained a lifetime customer - will be taking my Subaru here for service for years to come (as long as Bobby is around :))

I absolutely love my new 2022 Hyundai Santa Fe plug-in hybrid Limited, but this review is about my car buying experience. Colby Newlen was my go-to employee at Maguire and he made it an incredibly fun yet seamlessly smooth car buying experience. He was very knowledgeable about my new vehicle and made the walk through so fun. Colby was prompt in his responses to my questions, and the entire process from the time I got to the dealership to the time I drove away took less than an hour, if you can believe it! By telling me ahead of our meeting all the information and documents he'd need to get my paperwork done in a quick and timely manner, Colby clearly works smart yet very hard. I can't wait to purchase my next family vehicle directly through him. Maguire Hyundai of Ithaca is incredibly lucky to have him on their team. Colby, keep on smiling and keep up the great work!!!

Great customer service.Service manager is customer friendly. Always taking great care of my vehicles and personal needs.All team members are courteous. They place a high level of professionalism.Car washed when returned is just a nice touch.Thank you all for your great assistance.
