I stopped in this place during my trip to ithaca college. It is in a perfect place located right in the strip of the Ithaca commons. When I was there I met the owner who is a wonderful lady, she was so fun to talk to and really knew her stuff. She helped me pick out a nice fountain pen and ink. If you go you will not be disappointed by the service, quality or variety. I don't live near by, but I will definitely be returning for more fountain pens. 10/10 experience.

Really cute shop I would have given my business to, but I was scolded by an associate for taking a photo. There were no signs that I could see saying photos weren’t allowed. I left immediately.

I want to like it here. Unfortunately I've been treated poorly by more than one employee.

Cute shop. Wanted to get into a fountain pen with some nice paper. Asked if they sell Lamy pens as a starter. Couldn’t quite remember the brand name. Lama? Lyma? A simple no would have sufficed, and she could have gotten me into a better choice.
But “Oh you mean Lamy? That’s $20. We wouldn’t carry something that cheap. You’re better off at Staples.”
Cool. Guess I’m going to Staples.

Such a beautiful store! The store front windows are beautiful, walked out wishing I had more money!

Love this store, love this staff, love the products as well as the art here. When you want to buy something that is more meaningful, that doesn’t come from Amazon, that will have some meaningful usage then this is the place to visit.Staff was SUUUUPER cool to chat with about the art and other things. People like them is what makes Ithaca a very cool place!

The sales associates were shockingly rude. Came in needing to buy a card, left empty handed because of the interactions I saw with other customers.

Very rude and condescending sales associate. I touched a piece of paper sitting out on the table and was scolded multiple times.

This is such a delightful and whimsical place to browse for beautiful journals, paper, cards, other related gifts, etc! If you like all that - check it out!

It’s a beautiful and well-stocked store with lots of little treasures! That said, the prices for fountain pen ink are much higher than you’ll find at similar stores. I love supporting local businesses, but I’m not going to pay 50% more. I’ll still come here for notebooks and stationery, but for pens and ink, I’ll go elsewhere.

Reviews of staff behavior are just as important as product reviews in my opinion... and the cashier working was very obviously racist. My girlfriend and I (another Black woman) were not addressed as we entered or left, and we noticed the same for every other non-white customers who entered. However, every white guest was very audibly greeted and asked about their day. It's so disconcerting to still experience these micro hostilities and simply a bad business practice.

Don't come here unless you want to be personally attacked by the saleslady. I was shocked and ran out of the store even though I actually was going to buy things I liked in there.
