Fast, honest, reliable! Every time I get my car worked on, I prepare for the worst but these guys are always so friendly and helpful and don’t try to upsell. Maguire said I needed a whole bunch of work done on my car… brought it here for a second opinion, and they did not agree. Very happy to not spend money if I don’t have to.

Failed my inspection because there was a hairpin hole in one of my headlights, with nothing else wrong with it…pretty bizarre, almost petty thing to fail an inspection over if you ask me!Insanely rude counter service, made an appointment to get it inspected and didn’t get the car to be seen for 45 mins with no explanation or check in. Never again, no thank you

As usual, these guys are great. They have taken care of our cars for years now and every time we go there we feel like we’re in very good hands. This morning was no exception…we had a tire pressure issue which they checked out for us and then didn’t even charge. This is yet another positive experience of many we had with them. Another thing we really like about Monroe is that they are good at educating us on what’s going on with our car and the differences between choices we might need to make.

The guys that work here are absolutely fantastic. I was stressed about a clunk & they had my vehicle completely fixed (with inspection and oil change) in TWO HOURS! Way beyond my expectations and all without hurting my wallet. True integrity, I plan to come back any time necessary

I made an appointment, dropped off my truck and came back in a couple of hours to get my estimate for what needed to be done. Even though there was some major things that needed doing I was surprised at the estimate. However, everything was taken care of in less than a week and that's when I got the final price which was about $600. more than the estimate. Unfortunately I didn't have that kind of money, but they were very understanding and had no problem waiting for almost a month to get paid. It's definitely the place I'll go for any other things I need taken care of on my truck!

Monro eventually finished the job, so they don't earn a 1, but I'm never going back. They don't seem to know that having an appointment means that they should be ready to do the work, not that your in a line behind the walk ins. Job took nearly 3x as long as promised, and had I not inspected the estimate, I would have ended up paying even more due to the assumptions they made.

Ah. The warranty. You pay more and it gives you piece of mind. When something happens your spirits are lifted...I paid for a warranty!Then you learn a hard truth...said warranty is invalid. Monro is the most expensive place to get tires. Any place can get you a tire. Monro promised me a warranty at one location that another said they never honor. Avoid this place and the Monro chains in general. There are at least four other tire places in the area. You'll wish you'd have chosen them.

This shop has neither technical expertise nor a good attitude. After the brake inspection, a simple task, they triggered the electronic brake light. They said, I quote, “there is nothing I can do, you need to go to the dealer yourself and fix it”. The customer service also did not answer any calls. Okay, I will certainly take the time and find someone capable to fix my car, due to your fault. But I will certainly defend my own right through other lawful ways.Good luck to all the new customers coming to the store.

Awful service!!!!! I wouldn’t recommend them for any tire work…I was there for hours to get on the road with my car and my tire stable clips that hold tire on rim kept popping off. Manager told me it would be OK. I continue to drive up Elmira Road where my traction light continue to come on when catch speed one of the clips came off and got caught in my tire then one of the workers and manager try to make me pay for it instead of giving me a new tire he sealed the tire. Every sense I’ve been having terrible problems with my tires traction light comes on when it wants to and has a unstable feeling with the wheel when driving

To refute the recent negative reviews, I actually had a very positive experience with the manager Tim. He was direct and realistic about the repairs I would need. Despite my abrupt car troubles, they got the job done within 24 hours of bringing it in. Tim also seems to be an active mechanic/technician in addition to his customer-facing duties, which is probably the reason for the missing platitudes other customers are mistaking as rudeness.

Negative experience with the person working the front desk, Tim. He was rude from the get-go as if I were wasting his time by asking him questions about my car. He grew noticeably more impatient with me as I ask deeper questions, since I am not willing to spend $1300 for a repair without getting some answers first. I shopped around and realized that Monro was way overpricing the cost of this repair anyway, so glad to not be using their services anymore. I called again a few days later to get more clarification, and Tim made sure to emphasize the "AS I SAID" part when I followed-up as he proceeded to feign another customer call as an excuse to hang up on me. Definitely would not recommend these folks unless you enjoy bad customer service and being overcharged for repairs.
