It’s a well-kept place with many attractive products. Due to the high number of visitors, some items may be in short supply, but it’s worth making a purchase as a memento of your visit.

Cornell University Equine Hospital
930 Campus Rd, IthacaCornell is one of those places that seems scary as can be for owners with large animals because for years its synonymous with massive vet bills so often owners opt to not call them for help when they need it. That is a mistake. Cornell is capable of handling more than anywhere else, more efficiently than anyone else. There is a few things owners should know before sending an animal down for assesment. Diagnostics are quoted on arrival. You have to pay half to whole of that at that time to proceed. They can do care credit or cards. They have hearts. They want to do the best for the animal as well. When you have a horse in the hospital there, no news from the team isnt a bad thing. Thats a good thing. No news means stable and good. They are often dealing with emergencies and things that are critical and they usually call 2x a day (think of regular hospital rounds, it's the same). If you want to see your horse go down and see the front desk. They will help you. The ladies are amazing. We had a massive surgery done on our 6 year old gelding, and Cornell was the definition of amazing to work with. I would highly recommend them.

VCA Colonial Animal Hospital
2369 N Triphammer Rd, IthacaDr. Whalen has given my sensitive dog incredible care, and she has gone above and beyond to make sure I feel informed, empowered, and comfortable at every step of the care plan and treatment. Her guidance, suggestions, and issue-spotting have proved to be accurate and effective. She recently handled my dog's dental cleaning and extractions, and this too exceeded my expectations. She developed a specific post-op medicine treatment plan that didn't aggravate my dog's other health issues. I could not be more grateful or recommend her more highly. Thank you Dr. Whalen and Colonial!

Cornell University Hospital for Animals
930 Campus Rd, IthacaFound a severely injured kitten on the sidewalk. Could NOT leave her to die. Brought her up to the hospital and the staff took her right in. They were very nice. They have a Samaritan policy where you can bring a found animal and get it treated without financial responsibility if it’s not yours. I was so worried about having to spend a small fortune on an animal that’s not even mine and was so grateful to have a safe place to leave her for treatment.

Silo Food Truck
620 W Green St, IthacaWe booked Silo Food Truck for a Cornell graduation party and everything was fantastic! Despite some terrible weather, Jesse and his team showed up with ways to pivot and managed to make the whole experience still feel festive. We had about 70 people and I was a bit worried about the lines but service was quick and he was great about encouraging people to try different things and then come back for more. The chicken is really incredible, prices were reasonable (especially for graduation night!) and we had nothing but rave reviews from parents and students. He even kindly left the girls with some trays of chicken and cornbread which they said were a massive hit at 3am:) Highly highly recommend!!

Bickering Twins Restaurant & Tequila Bar
114 N Cayuga St, IthacaGood drinks, okay food, good ambiance and service. Little crazy to have to pay for chips and salsa, and overall everything we had (two types of vegetarian tacos, carnitas, beans and rice, guac) were kind of under seasoned. But for a college town taco place, pretty much what you’d expect!

Spca Of Tompkins County
1640 Hanshaw Rd, IthacaHello to all cat and animal lovers! I am reaching out to all ~ I have been helping an outdoor cat that is homeless and in need of rescue by someone with a big heart. She's a black/white/tan longhair domestic kitty and appears to be around at least 10-11 years of age. She's around 7 or 8 lbs and in pretty decent condition and she desperately needs to get in out of the cold and to a loving family. She is situated outside of the maintenance shed at CARS, which is located at 6621 RT 227 in Trumansburg.
A very kind-hearted person got her a small warming hut for now, but with the frigid cold setting in, she absolutely needs a home!
To the SPCA or anyone who may be able and willing, PLEASE help her. Thank-You!
