Took my 2017 Ford Focus here for a new starter. They were great. Got it on a Thursday and it was fixed and ready to go the next day by the end of the day. These guys are the best!! All the way from the guys that answer phones to the mechanics. I would recommend them to anyone.

Pritchard Automotive provides excellent service, I highly recommend! I called and had an appointment within a week, and they fixed my car in about a day! Gary, who is one of the nicest people in Ithaca hands down, gave me a reasonable quote and explained the whole process to me. When I arrived, my payment was less than he quoted me. When does that ever happen when you take your car to be serviced?? I will absolutely be back for my car. Thank you Pritchard!!Services: General repairs & maintenance

We only service our cars at Pritchard. They remember us and our cars' histories. Prices are reasonable and they never try to upsell you.

Had my winter tires switched out to summer tires. All the lights on the dash were lit up after I picked it up. Took it back and they said it was a rusty sensor and would be around $500 to fix. Did not do the fix and after one trip in the car, the front end was shaking. Pulled over and 2 lug nuts were missing. Took it back and was charged to replace the lug nuts. They wanted to do more work but I drove away.

I have to share my review of Pritchards to help others avoid their body shop. My car needed some repainting that someone else's insurance was covering and Jim quoted me an estimate of 12 days. I turned it in about 3 weeks before I needed it back to travel to some events to give myself a buffer in case of delays. Jim was aware of this deadline and told me it would be finished before that time. I called after my car had been there for one week and Jim told me it had not been started on. I was shocked, but he told me my car would be ready the day before I needed it. I called back a couple days after that to ensure work had been started. It had and in fact, Jim had found additional damages and ordered new parts without checking with me or the insurance covering the repair which I found extremely rude and disrespectful. Two days before I needed the car back (the repair already overdue at this point from the estimate), I called Jim and he was unsure if the car would be ready. I asked him to keep me updated. He never called. I called him the day before I needed the car ready, a Thursday. He said he was unsure if it would be ready. I was floored. I said I needed to know so I could make other travel plans. He said to call back later, which I found very rude and unprofessional, when he knew about my timeline the entire time AND the project was already days overdue. I called back and he informed me the car would not be ready but that I would be his first call the next Monday. I was not his first call the next Monday, and I ending up having to call him. Jim said he was not sure how much work needed to be done or what time it would be ready. After speaking to a manager and hearing what work still needed to be done, I realized Jim my car had not been worked on at all since Thursday. Pritchard's never reached out to me or kept me informed about my car. I understand delays happen but to not keep your customer informed, or ordering additional parts without their consent is bad service. In fact - they had the car for an entire week before even starting the job. I would not advise using the body shop at Pritchards because of their poor communication with customers.

I have to say we have taken all of our cars to Pritchards for inspections and repairs. In the past few years with warranties we have had to take our cars elsewhere - like local Subaru dealer and were astonished that they tried to tell us work that was needed on the car that IT DID NOT NEED. Took it back to Pritchards after having the recall work done and had Pritchard's go over the car thoroughly - Whew - glad we did. Not only did they tell us what we did NOT need to do they also told us what we needed to do at a substanally lower cost almost $1000 less (!). I trust what they tell me and feel assured they will not tell us to do more work than we need on our cars.

Love Pritchard! Bought my car there and got an extended service contract. I drop my car off with a wishlist, they get back to me efficiently by phone with a work plan and time estimate.
